The same goes for heli pilots. i am sick and disgusted with people who TK you so that they can get into the chopper (at your expense). What is even worse is that sometimes i get into the gunner position, and the pilot either flips the chopper and crashes it (killing me although he bails out without dying somehoiw) or tells me to get out because he wants his friend in. It was so infuriating, so immature, and it pisses me off so much to play with people like this. This thing irritates me a helluva lot more than accidental TK punishes.

I wish people who did these things could be banned permanently, immature punks like this do not deserve to be playing a team game in a public server. The last time some dweeb tried to do this to me i threw 2 C4 packs on his chopper and waited till he was close to the enemy base before i blew him and his lame ass gunner up. Since then i have completely stopped flying the chopper because i lose all mood to play when sh1t like this happens. At least when i stay on the ground i dont have to get this type of crap

If i get in a helicopter with someone outside my squad, and then there comes someone else and writes "Please get out, me and my squad mate are using the chopper", i get out, since a chopper with VOIP is better than a chopper with none.

BUT. If the guy says "OMG! GET OUT OF THE CHOPPER ITS MINE" then i wont get out of it. The magic to writing in online games, is don't use your cool, DON'T USE CAPS and say "please".

That i can relate to. If a guy tells me nicely that he wants his squadmate to gun instead, i say go for it, i'll jump out. But asking nicely has NEVER happened to me before.

I should also clear up my earlier post. When i said the pilot flips the chopper and crashes it, its not because of lack of skill, its because it was done on PURPOSE to kill the gunner he doesnt want in it. He somehow bails out without killing himself when the chopper is upside down so he doesnt die. I bail out too, but can never escape. Its a disgusting tactic, and growing very rampant nowadays. Happened to me about 3 times already

So I go and join a Pub ranked server, like always...I perfer the Med size maps because they allow for more aircraft w/o a lot of lag and/or time spent traversing the map...

ANYWAY, I go to fly one of the jets (been practicing :hmm: ) and I sprint to the runway and hop in my plane...then just as I begin to go, another player runs out on the runway and refuses to move because "he was here first and he wants to fly!"

so of course I take off anyway, and get punished...(OF COURSE ) and this happens a few more times until I get kicked...

this is a really serious problem for me, because I dont have much time to play this game, and when I do I really dont want to have to deal with this ****...

If you know someone like this, or are "one of these people" yourself...grow some pubes and start acting a little more mature

ya i really hate getting punished for stupid stuff like that.. what pisses me off the most though is freaking admins who boot becuase you score more points than them. If u ever run into the D2A clan server, you've been warned...i think its run by 15 year olds.

LOL. everytime i get mad at a tank/bhawk/jet whore i always switch to c4 and for the rest of the round commit myself to runing that guys day. i dotn care bout points, i just wanta make him mad, sometimes i can get a whole squad together of spec. ops. to just put c4 on everything. and whats great is that usually if they are hardcore tank whores and cant get their tank they suck ass at infantry combat. (talking mostly bout karkand btw)

Unfortunately this game is plagued by an enormous number of kiddies and immature teens. (yep, you know who you are)
Solution? Join a mature clan with people that don't just say "0mg l337 R0x0r!!!!" or play LAN with friends.

Unfortunately, these people wont grow up and will continue to do this. You will find them on almost all public servers.

Only option, is to do to them what they started doing to you. Let them take the jet then stand infront of the plane and get tkd and punish.

Eventually, its the jerks that get banned at the cost of a few deaths, and even though it took time that shouldn't have been wasted (like getting sued and winning cause it was a dumbass thing you got sued for) you can go on with your flying and playing on the server you like.

Ahhh good ol' SoF2 times. In SoF2 they had a TK system based on damage. There was a server Cvar for it and in-game it showed a percentage. If some guy was pissing you off you could usually shoot him in the kneecap (and take the ~10% TK damage) and he'd blow your head off. Do it three times and bam! No more problem for an hour and a half.

If its a US jet, just hold down S and hover above him

Other than that, just wait him out...stay in the jet - and read a magizine or go and get a drink, or take a piss.

I would just love to grab all those guys by their neck and break it.. Why buy and play a game if you are going to be a newb about it? I just can't understand. They need to alt + f4 and go back to their AIM conversations and surfing the CS forums.

Lol, its best when there are a couple of guys waiting for a jet, yesterday i saw about 7 guys waiting, each one was ready to pounce on the other to get the jet first, and when the jet did re-spawn, while they were all fighting and trying to get the best of each other, i just flew of in the jet...Stupid people, happens everytime i go to the jets.

And the sadist thing is, they are most likely all grown men.

Ive even seen a guy shoot a nade at a jet taking off, dumass, and i wonder what their score at the end is, -50.

Eh, I get tk'd for the attack copters all the time. Instead of playing bf2 the way they meant it to be played, it ends being a game of who can get who tk kickbanned first.

Not as fun as the original, but it beats letting dumb stuff like that slide.
