Jet Pricks... grow up already!

So I go and join a Pub ranked server, like always...I perfer the Med size maps because they allow for more aircraft w/o a lot of lag and/or time spent traversing the map...

ANYWAY, I go to fly one of the jets (been practicing :hmm: ) and I sprint to the runway and hop in my plane...then just as I begin to go, another player runs out on the runway and refuses to move because "he was here first and he wants to fly!"

what the ****... seriously.....WHAT THE ****

so of course I take off anyway, and get punished...(OF COURSE ) and this happens a few more times until I get kicked...

this is a really serious problem for me, because I dont have much time to play this game, and when I do I really dont want to have to deal with this ****...

If you know someone like this, or are "one of these people" yourself...grow some pubes and start acting a little more mature

Today i was kicked from a server while in first place on my team. A teammate mowed me down as i was prone capping an enemy flag. If it's not my fault I will sometimes punish them, since i had yet to die that round I was pretty annoyed so I punished him and low and behold I was then (5 seconds later) kicked and BANNED from the server for teamkilling. Even though I hadn't TK'd once the entire time I was on the server. GG

The point is, no matter what you try to do, play by all the rules, you will still lose.

Just take their names and report them to the admins..

If we start fighting back, getting them banned, they will eventually get the hint that this is a team game.....

Unfortunately, these people wont grow up and will continue to do this. You will find them on almost all public servers.

Only option, is to do to them what they started doing to you. Let them take the jet then stand infront of the plane and get tkd and punish.

Eventually, its the jerks that get banned at the cost of a few deaths, and even though it took time that shouldn't have been wasted (like getting sued and winning cause it was a dumbass thing you got sued for) you can go on with your flying and playing on the server you like.

The same goes for heli pilots. i am sick and disgusted with people who TK you so that they can get into the chopper (at your expense). What is even worse is that sometimes i get into the gunner position, and the pilot either flips the chopper and crashes it (killing me although he bails out without dying somehoiw) or tells me to get out because he wants his friend in. It was so infuriating, so immature, and it pisses me off so much to play with people like this. This thing irritates me a helluva lot more than accidental TK punishes.

I wish people who did these things could be banned permanently, immature punks like this do not deserve to be playing a team game in a public server. The last time some dweeb tried to do this to me i threw 2 C4 packs on his chopper and waited till he was close to the enemy base before i blew him and his lame ass gunner up. Since then i have completely stopped flying the chopper because i lose all mood to play when sh1t like this happens. At least when i stay on the ground i dont have to get this type of crap

Pilots that can't fly are annoying.. Yesterday I hopped in with a dude that proceeded to fly straight in to the enemy attack chopper without even attempting to let me fire on them, or even try to fire his rockets.. When we respawned, he hopped in the pilot's seat again so I didn't get in the back.. Stood there for about 20 seconds and saw him die again. I'm not a good pilot, but I could have done better than him -- I'd at least last a full minute in the air :laugh:

But what's wrong with a guy and his friend that are in voice communication wanting to fly together? Maybe they've flown together a lot and can really help out your team.. It's better to have two people working together in the chopper rather than two people doing their own thing, IMHO. The pilot can call out targets that the gunner may not see through the b&w tv missle screen.

I'm not much of a pilot and haven't spent much time as a gunner, but I've seen pilots ask gunners to hop out because they have a friend, in the same squad both using VOIP, that has been flying with them. I don't see much wrong with this, and I've probably even hopped out myself. Why not be nice and let them have a turn (unless they've been hogging the chopper for 5 rounds...)?

I have flown with a pilot w/ VOIP and w/o VOIP. Much easier when you're talking to each other, and a whole lot more fun! In fact, if I find myself with someone for more than one death I'll leave my squad and join theirs so I can at least try to talk to them... "Cirlce back, saw a nice tank to shoot, but watch out for that attack chopper over there."

Anyways, I'll just chill in the aircraft until they move, or I'll try to taxi around them. You don't really need to much airstrip to take off if you use the afterburners, which alot of people forget about.

well I have been on the other side of the fence and am sick of waiting for helo/jets for 10 minutes then when it appears the people that just died in the jet to allow it to respawn grab it and take off and there goes 10 minuntes of my time. I dont get my self tked but it still annoys me.

I don't fly much, but if i see someone running towards my plane, even though they can clearly see i'm in it, i will just sit there in it. Won't move at all. Entually they get pissed and TK me, or they leave and do something else.

Lol, its best when there are a couple of guys waiting for a jet, yesterday i saw about 7 guys waiting, each one was ready to pounce on the other to get the jet first, and when the jet did re-spawn, while they were all fighting and trying to get the best of each other, i just flew of in the jet...Stupid people, happens everytime i go to the jets.

And the sadist thing is, they are most likely all grown men.

Ive even seen a guy shoot a nade at a jet taking off, dumass, and i wonder what their score at the end is, -50.
