it IS bunnyhopping. slang changes, get over it. i understand you find it fun to be an internet sage but that doesnt make you right. stop arguing about semantics, it IS bunnyhopping due to the basic fact that more ppl say it is than it isnt.
It is far from bunnyhopping.
People still bunnyhop in other games to this day and people will still bunnyhop in new future games that support it. So no, the slang has not changed because bunnyhopping still exists and this isn't bunnyhopping.
Why wouldn't you hop to avoid being shot? Seems logical to me... besides, it's no more annoying than those people who immediately go prone when they meet you in close quarters. If everybody just stood still or went prone during firefights we'd be fighting like in the Revolutionary War when everyone just stood there and shot at each other.
It is neither cheating nor an exploit, but an abused ability in the game. I am sure the Devs did not forsee someone abusing the ability to jump in the game as is being done in Battlefield 2. With the tons of posts about the same subject on here and on their official forums, we will see something done about it in an official patch down the road.
Ok fine, great coomments, but what about the fact that I had him DEAD ON with my M4 and he survived???? I emptied at least 60% of my clip on him and I had a full clip. I was ready for him, and knew where he was going to appear. I woudl say that on my screen, at least 90% of my shots wher dead on.
So..... that leads me to believe that when he was on ground and I shot at him, he was really in the air??
Next time I'll C4 the dam ladder. Let him bunnyhop / Baloon / jump outta that one!!!

I hop once and shoot with the shotgun only because I think that in real life I could pump that shotgun faster... Thats about all the bunnyhopping i do. I never bunnyhop because i'm getting shot or when i'm shooting like a lot do. I DO NOT have a problem with it because I kill them most of the time and they are the ones that look stupid... In my life I have see a lot of real gun fights and I have never seen someone jumping around like a dumb ass shooting back...lol that would be funny as hell.
 I love your sense of sarcasm ....it is sarcasm .. right?
Actually, no, it is not.
While bunny hopping has been around since the days of Quake, I don't think they actually figured so many players would be abusing it to avoid taking damage.
The question is, where is the hit box on an opponent that bunny hops? Due to the rapid jumping rate, it causes false misses of bullets on the one hopping around.
So again, no. I don't think they saw someone abusing jumping to totally avoid damage detection.
next time i go to the shotting range im going to run at my target jumping up and down and see if i dont shoot my self, fall, or just look like a dumb ass never hitting my target
I don't know why this bugs me so much, but it took me so long to perfect it in TFC so that when I see people bastardizing the term here, it drives me nuts.

LMFAO! record that! Next time I go play airsoft im gona jump around like a dumb ass shooting to see what is it like.
