I dont know if this has been posted, but:

When on a ladder Hit "C" to chage to 3rd person view - this is useful because if you climb up the ladder 95% up, you can see whats above you without haveing to peek over the top and getting shot.

Yeah I've done that a few times, you can also press F10.

Not using an unlocked weapon on a server that allows them? Pick up the dropped packs if you know they were using an unlocked weapon...you then have that unlocked weapon until you die or the round is over. A friend and I do this with the sniper weapon I have unlocked...he picks it up immediately after I die. Pick up the others even if you don't know for sure...you might be lucky and find there is an unlocked weapon in it ;-)

Enough can't be said for being in a squad and using the ability to spawn on your squad leader...do it...you'll help out your squad mates defending that position. Variation of this is to get in a 2 person squad and if you are the squad leader and get killed...leave the squad...rejoin and select spawn on squad leader....you are back in the fight!!! Most useful for 2 snipers who have set up claymores protecting an advantage point.

        As a sniper....

Always lay claymores at the access points to where you are camped at (i.e. tops of ladders, around rocks) It is amazing how many times you either kill the guy before he gets to you or kill him just after he has killed you. Either way you get a kill credit....and you get advance notice that the enemy is near.

My favorite target is the exposed gunner in vehicles. Especially if I see the defending a flag...easy snipe...also helps out your spec ops guy in getting to the vehicle.

One/Two snipers and One/Two AT guys can typically defend a flag all round long.

          Sniper Tactics

Although popular, the sniper is one of the most difficult kits to master, as stealth and patience are just as important as marksmanship. Unless you score headshots on every shot you fire, then it will take 2-3 shots to down the enemy. When engaging enemies long range through the scope, the most challenging aspect of scoring a hit is determining how far to lead the target. It all depends on the direction and speed of the movement. For example, you'll need to lead a sprinting target alot more than one that's just walking, wainting to be picked off. Eventualy when you learn how far to lead the target, you'll increase the liklihood of downing more enemys. Always find yourself a nice location to take your shots from. Highground, grass and when sniping in urban places try to conseal yourself using the interiors of the building/walls etc... And remember to always cover your flank with claymores.

I don't know if this is a top or not, but it's what I do.
When you're a pilot and there's a missle on your tail, dive really low to the ground and stay there for half a second and then pull up again and the missle will miss.

Can someone tell me what F3 does?

When playing as sniper on a dark/foggy map (like Strike at Karkand),
make sure you're staying half after some sort of cover, so that the enemies don't see the lightflashes from your gun if you fire.
(this is also an easy way to take out snipers/supports at long distances on map like Strike at Karkand, just look for the lightflashes of their guns.)

Believe it or not you can use the camoflauge with vehicles. Know what is behind you and it might give you that extra half-second that your target doesn't see you.

For example: On Dalian Plant, if you're trying to take the Eastern most base and you're in a Super Cobra, place the building behind you. We were testing this and found that my friends couldn't see us and we were able to get another TV shot in before he was able to see us!!! He said that be blended with the buildings behind us and he didn't spot us right away. (I like to hover and let my gunner use his cruise missiles to take out enemies a flag away)

                        Here's a sniper tip:

When you kill an enemy that has spotted you (i.e. someone tries to kill you but you kill them instead), find a new sniping spot. Many people will respawn as a sniper and try to kill you then go pick up their kit (as least that's what I do). Basically once your spot is revealed, move!

Wow I have never seen so much good input this is really great guys. Thankyou for dedicating your time to make this tip page. I never new you could slide down those pesky ladders fast and look around! That bomber tip is really great too. I use it all the time. The only diference in what i do is that i put on lock mode a few times for just a second or 2 to scare the enemy jet and hopefully make him lose his flares. once they are dropped ill trail him n hope no one spots me until i can get close, lock on, fire missles and then go back into bomber mode fast. If your lock only lasts a second, he will think an aa vehicle just had a temporarylock, and he will go onflying. After the first missle hits, he will have no time to react before the second one kills him.

MEDIC TIPS: Learn the distance at which your defibulators work. This is a vital bit of information that can give you lots of points and save you lots of deathts. Learn to sprint over a dead body and jolt him while you are still running to avoid behind shot while you are crouching. It also helps to jump in the air and then hit z or the prone button and zap the man on the way down, then jump up and run right after that. Make sure to drop all medic pouches as soon as you spawn. as far as i can tell there is no limit to the amount you can drop so dropping 3 when you spawn can only help. drop the packs in secluded areas. Dont drop them in the middle of the street. If you do, then you are lurring your injured comrads into the fireingrange. When they die out there it is harder to revive and you might get killed. Dont be afraid to ask a fellow squad member who is assault to drop you some smoke. More cover means more safety. Often times your revive sprees will be set off by an enemy grenade spamming your position. Don't be too hasty to rush in. Often times the enemy will lob all 4 grenades so wait a second to see if the montage of death comes to a halt before saving your dying buddies. when using the l85a1 be gentle. the crosshairs go crazy in autofiremode so just tap it. 3-5 shot burst will do fine. never ever go full auto. You will die. Focus mainly on keeping your friends alive and not shooting the enemy. You will get tons of points this way. I mean tons. I have gotten upwars of 80 points with only 4 kills almost every day that i play.

You apparently don't realize how lame this is. Or maybe you do and are just a point whore.

Don't revive someone in the middle of battle just so he can get shot again. Take out the enemy first and then revive him.

There's nothing worse then spending a lot of time watching the spawn screen countdown because someone keeps reviving you and you get immediately killed.
