The collective experience here has always been that the guns does not count toward those badges.
It has been quite a while since I bothered, but isn't there even a slight name difference?

    Could you please doublecheck this?

      Please don't kill yourself.
Thanks for clearing this out Sentience. However, from what I've read on these forums from several people who've tried shooting titan guns towards that badge, that those points weren't cumulated. Otherwise, you would just have to shoot the 4 guns twice each for a nice total of 16 points. You'd be halfway through and that badge wouldn't be so hard to get. Unless it recently chaged that is...

Edit: I totally agree with Vreki on this.

Shooting guns doesnt count. Thats a totally different score.

Its 30 seperate kills on the enemy titan.

I thought so. I had the time requirements for gold and didn't even have the bronze at one point. I kept using the gunship and destroying the ground cannons, then spawning as an engineer to take out AA. I would then attack consoles and defenders and still not even a bronze. Then I devoted one game recently and was clearing out vents and RDXing defenders as they would drop in and destroyed no guns. Got the bronze and silver in one round.:yay: Still working on the gold!

Not one to argue a point (as you all know) but why would it say "Titan attack score" when you shoot out the guns if they don't count?

I don't get it, i'm not saying you guys are wrong in saying they don't count but it is quite misleading isn't it?

Has anyone tried taking out the guns and then going for the remaining 14 kills afterwards.

            :)

It is very misleading. I was under the impression that they did count, and was going to contact EA/DICE to get clarification, but ended up seeing a thread somewhere on this forum in the past (can't find it atm) saying it did not count and just shrugged it off. Now DICE is in here saying it does count. I find it very odd. I just know that attacking guns has not worked for me in the past.

When you destroy a gun, you see "Titan attack score" and when you actually kill someone on the enemy titan, you get something like "Titan bonus". I don't remember clearly but the point is, you get a different message...

You know, I think you stirred a memory here:
Isn't one Titan attack score and the other Titan attack bonus?

What on earth does sentience mean then?

"He's not stupit, he's advanced!" -the tall one.

Don't mind him, he's new here :P I think he just got somethings mixed up, but I also remember the early threads about Titan guns and the Titan Attack Bonus and kills on board the Titan as Titan Attack Score/Points. You need the ones from kills. I can't seem to find the old thread either, but luckly it was a DICE member that cleared it up.

Yep. But apparently, Sentience mentioned something that's contradictory to what's already been debated over and over again for ages :p
