Throwing it at the enemy is a useful tactic, as its so hard to focus when hit by one, and thus is considered a ligitimate tactic in what ezekiel is doing as hes helping out his team, maybe a "cheap" way to get points but theres a dozen cheap ways to get cheap points in this game and are usually all seen in the timeless servers ironically enough, am I saying thats a bad thing not really, I usually go on the titan guns when im on the phone or sumin :P

Timme2006 I caught shortly before knifing him throwing emp nades at our uav station ontop of a building on fob, deserved the blade inbetween the eyes, as he was violating the roof rule and was stat padding as him throwing emps on the uav was completely unbenifical...

Not sure if people are reading this thread, the one about where to look up emp stats started by ballaace and the reference and screenshots on the Timeless forum. They are all sort of combined. To answer a question.

No we do not ban for EMP use against infantry. We ban when someone uses the points gained by throwing EMP's excessively to get medals that someone else deserved through hard work, teamwork and skill. We ban stat padders in other words.

Regarding this occasion it took THREE rounds of me watching and screenshoting to establish what was happening and when i saw that at the last stages of the game EMP's were being spammed almost continuosly jut to jack the score up and win gold I decided enough was enough. Three rounds of spamming emps to take gold is enough in anybodies books. It was not as though I had it in for the player as I had never seen him on a Timeless server before and was not aware he was a member of this community until I read BallaAces thread about where to look up EMP stats and I saw his name etc.

For others peoples information Gibralter is my least favourite map lately. I get more deaths than kills on average and every death is usually a baseraper and every kill is usually a baseraper. I switch to PAC side practically every turn to ensure no EU run amok or spam greandes into spawn areas etc.

EMPS are used throughout the game. As soon as I see a few go off in a row I check the scores. Take a screeny here and there... then I watch. If its someone on my side i stalk them for a while to see if they are playing legit or just racking up points for themselves.

If at the end of the game someone wins with a suspect score and its someone on the other side I swop sides next round and do the same. Keep a careful eye. Evetually I make a decision on whether the guy is genuinely using EMP's to confuse the enemy or whether he is spamming them just to get medals. I have never won a medal on our Gibralter server by the way lol.

Hope that explains it. I am quite sure its what most admins would do.

As long as it is against vehicles or infantry, nade spamming should be legal. He couldn't have done the real stat padding way of EMPs because he is in his own base. If you are getting half a point hitting every enemy, you could easily get just as many by throwing frags. He still had plenty of kills in the screenshots as well which meant he had some bullets shot to back up those EMPs. Would you complain if he was on your team and had the enemy walker EMPed so you could get a vent shot? I think not. I don't know why its such a difference if it keeps the enemy disoriented an suppressed. The citing of the ROC is not making your point. Does the APC on FOB not count as an inflated scoring scenario? Not my server though and I wasn't there, so it's not my decision of course:hmm:.

Agreed, Please get some real evidence, like battle recorder.Those screen shots show nothing, once again. Show us a real banable offence like spamming them on ********* ****** or something.

EMP spamming infantry and armor is NO different then nade spamming in titan corridors. You get more points on titan corridors with ammo hubs and a bunch of tards spamming the hell out of them.
You say its impossible to get those high scores on maps like Camp Gib,(conquest) legitly? Hell with the right team and squad, i guarantee i could get 40-50 team work score easily. So i guess i would be banned for it.

Again in those SS that you have provider shows no proof of miss use of the EMP nades.
I mean really @ .5 a point, i think he does it merely to piss the other team off. God i know i hate those things. They are use full against infantry and armor. So if i want to spam them at infantry and armor 100 times in a game, its my right to cause they are there to use, to help my team win.
So you are saying that is padding, so if i come to your server with some my squad m8s and i use that tatic to disable armor and confuse the infantry, I would get banned for padding. That is lame, it is a legit tatic. Even though i don't care for it or like it. It is a style of gameplay.

This is a server owners point of view, and not "People on the Ezekial band wagon as someone put it".

Also, as you stated from the ROC, that technically is not for 2142, that is based on BF2. But they are lazy and didn't write one for 2142.

Also to satisfy my curiosity, i am going to contact EACS and see if they consider it stat padding, or a tactful gameplay.

If I played by using and repairing titan guns only...I deserve to be kicked/banned even after I slowed the enemy and defended the titan/silos?

Zero death risks and way more rewarding than constantly emping the enemy. End round top 3 most of the time when you do that in a server with movable titans.

And as mentioned, emp only gives 1/2 point when it hits the enemy. It is padding when friend and foe go out of the battle area and do that in a safe environment without killing each other.

Which is the point. He is using EMPs as a tool to make enemies easier to kill. It is like saying running around with a medpack out doing nothing but healing is stat padding. If the guy doing that really wants to help my team that much, more power to him.

I know for a fact that you got your high score by doing the pilot switch to passenger drop pin glitch, this isn't just a guess from looking at how many drop pins you have, which is quite a lot considering you are someone who hardly ever plays titan.

Why don't you tell everyone how you nearly started crying like a little girl when you thought your stats had been reset by EA because of your pilot/passenger drop pin glitching.

Go on "Mr. I am number 20 in the world" tell them all what a big boy you are.

I know you are a very skillful player but i also know that you used to glitch like a mofo, so don't try to lie to me because i amongst others know the truth about you crosland and you should maybe think carefully about who i might be before you start up with your BS again.

Personally I think most people are just defending their friend. After all people could have claimed when the seat switch bug was enabled they were just getting a better view of the air transports gun or switching to a seat to repair it. So what if everyone got points?

Is that not the exact same argument? What we are saying is that if someone is in the heat of battle and they spam emp grenades and that is all they are doing OK. Yes they get no kills and a few deaths but as long as they are throwing emp greandes at the enemy its OK for them to earn... ? How many points? Lets say 1000 points in a agme. Is that ok?
