Since I caught Inf UK Ezekial stat padding on a Timeles server his name no longer comes up in the leaderboard search or on 2142-stats website.

Have i got the right spelling or has he deleted his account?

i hate this, u guys are all so critical. bottom line its a game and sometimes people are better than others, im not saying he wasnt using emp grenades but arent you guys breaking EA rules by making up your own rules on your own servers?

if he wants to spam emp nades at troops/armor LET HIM!

even ********* ****** but only to a certian point on this, lets say if your team is attacking the other team titan and you dont want them to be able to use their *** for a few min while you team attacks then emp it because it makes puts it out of use of the commander so it does help your team. BUT IF YOU EXPLOIT IT TO 100+ POINTS YOUR STATS SHOULD BE RESET.

and as far as i can tell he is not guilty of such

plus for a player as good as him it would seem that it would be to boring for him to just spam them for points when you can spam frag grenades at troops for points and kills.

if any of you stat-padders out there read this PLEASE GO TO THIS JERKS SERVER AND DO YOUR THING JUST TO PISS HIM OFF! and do it right in front of him so he can get the screenshots for us. thank you

As long as it is against vehicles or infantry, nade spamming should be legal. He couldn't have done the real stat padding way of EMPs because he is in his own base. If you are getting half a point hitting every enemy, you could easily get just as many by throwing frags. He still had plenty of kills in the screenshots as well which meant he had some bullets shot to back up those EMPs. Would you complain if he was on your team and had the enemy walker EMPed so you could get a vent shot? I think not. I don't know why its such a difference if it keeps the enemy disoriented an suppressed. The citing of the ROC is not making your point. Does the APC on FOB not count as an inflated scoring scenario? Not my server though and I wasn't there, so it's not my decision of course:hmm:.

Why close the thread. Its opened a huge debate how players can inflate theirs scores.

Timeless have no rules that are not supported by the guidelines laid down by EA ROC or Online Conditions of play.

As an admin I protect the quality of play on Timeless servers. I am drawing attention to this fact because, as already stated, we don't want people coming to the servers to cheat and pad. Ezekiel can stat pad all he likes. If he wants to spam EMP grenades and get an enflated score this way just to win gold. Let him. I seriously don't care. He won't do it on a Timeless server though because hes banned.

I am protecting the game play and enjoyment of the other 63 players.
You guys post your complaints about idiot admins with stupid rules etc who ban just because they get owned. You don't get this on Timeless servers.

I know for a fact he has many friends. People who don't care whether he cheats and pads and some feel it neccesary to argue his case despite evidence to show he was anything but playing in a way that gave him an unfair advantage over the other players.

I am not here to make friends or influence people. i am here to discuss, and yes argue, the merits of the game and those that abuse the rules/programs/mechanics of the game. This is after all a forum.

I cant belive this topic has been allowed to carry on when I brought this up a few weeks ago it was deleted and I got told I could be banned from the server yet here we are having server admins discussing the very thing mine was deleted for.. another case of 1 rule for one and a nother rule for another.. so seeing as this is going on im going to add my 2 pennies worth...

If what we read here is the true definition then it has to take more than 1 person to statpad.. if 1 guys is doing an action that is increasing his points on his own, points of which the game creators intended then that is deemed as legit.. if you emp the choke points at camp gib instead of nading, you will gain more points even tho you just get 0.5 points per hit because you can emp the same infantry guys over and over again, you nade them they die... if a guy is emping ******* ***** then isnt it for the commander to send a squad in to stop him? One more thing.. if emping ******* ***** is classed as statpadding then surly repairing titan guns, sitting on titan guns, destroying titan guns, nading chokepoints and a whole bunch of other stuff would be classed as statpadding as well...

I just think some of you cant stand the arrogance Eze displays on these forums. It really does seem like a witch hunt. The screenies really dont prove anything. This whole thread is about this huge grey area so perhap some good will come of it but I reckon there is no clear census of opinion. Grey area indeed.

I am not sure why you try to mix whoring to spamming emp greandes? Slight difference.
The main thing here is that repairing guns etc can only be done if they are damaged by the enemy. If you could stand there and just crank your hoff at a healthy gun and get points then its obviously stat padding. Like wise how many people would bother throwing emp greandes if there was no points attached? Few. The occasional one just before a squad assualted which is their true use I guess. Take for example the radar grenade. If assualt had unlimited supply and they got half a point for throwing them there would be grenades radaring the map left right and centre. People use emp grenades for their own benefit no matter how many times they deny it.

The fact is that people do something that is not needed JUST to inflate their scores. In this grey area there is the claim that it benefits the team but its really just the plain old truth they can get more points and medals if they do it regardless of its benefit. That is stat padding by its very definition.
