I have my hopes up that the official release will have many additional tweaks (like the rumored nixing of pod surfing). I can only keep my fingers crossed.

i would put money on its a gamspy thing. this just come out the blue. Its the same with punkbuster dice can't patch there problem. I would think if it was dices fault it would have come along with 1.25

2142 doesn't use gamespy. The servers + stats are all run by EA. They ditched gamespy after all the issues in BF2.
