cs:s is retail too.
source is retail too.
And, besides, when you buy CSS, all you download is the basic HL2 executables plus a mod on top of it.
Source is a Valve's game engine.
acc_int wrote..Dont catch you, but as soon as valve released cs:s as a stand along game.. 19.99.. people cant use the excuse "ITS A FREE GAME BLAH BLAH"

And yet you haven't answered my question.
BeaMeR wrote..I got that impression as well. Namely the things that look like this:
Some of the stuff in darwinia reminds me of Tron.
Features:new characters?
* Single-elimination, team-based online shooter
* Completely overhauled with better graphics, new characters, items, and environments
* Package includes Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat: Source
* Real-world physics adds depth the gameplay
* Internet connection required for online play
acc_int wrote..Uhhh, okay. Sure thing, man. I'm just pointing out that for all the big ballin' business Valve does, a couple player models seem to take ages to complete.
And if you are so desperate for those models, the codename for getting them is CS 1.6. Remember CSS is free. They didn't have to give it to you.
BeaMeR wrote..Yeah. I just watched the Darwinia video. This game looks like crap. And they totally ripped their idea off of Tron. Can't they come up with something original? Those flying units are exactly the same as the things in Tron. EXACTLY.
