I didn't do awful but I had to readapt, the infantry part is a little sluggish yes.

Meh, I don't mind the movement of BF2142. Sure it's lag-ish but you get used to it quickly.

Really? I did awful after playing BC2. The mechanics in BC2 are so much smoother.

I ended up my first round after reinstalling 10/4 playing assault, I very rarely go 10/4 on BC2 and these weren't noobs; I caught a couple dolphin diving.

Could be either:

-you learn to control fire on BC2, it helps dealing with the random cone in 2142.
-You learn to use cover more efficiently since in BC2 nothing can cover you completely when crouching.
-You learn to always be on the move on BC2, hence you never go prone again in 2142.

Incidentally most of my deaths were from grenade spam, and one from a sniper. BTW put the BAUR on BF3!

No, I try to always play PAC in BF2142 since they are the "bad guys". By Extension I enjoy playing more as Rambo Jesus russian medic on BC2.

Yeah, PAC, arent those the ones wearing black armor? Me and my cousin always called them the russians, not sure why, but i also always prefered that sniper to the unlockable one that shoots like cannon

PAC forever! The snipers look a bit asian, like futuristic Chinese. Wich kinda makes sense as it's PAC that developed the titan technology; but yeah the core of their army is russian somehow.

anyways, I don't see the problem with 4-man squads; is there a set number of people irl US army? From a videogame point of view; that's the classical and traditional multiplayer group of players; Gauntlet started it, There are only 4 mutant ninja turtles, and 4 Simpsons guys, the guys from Desert Strike also were 4, the guys from Growl, Sunset Riders and the small X-Men arcade machine even tough there was a 6 player model. That's also the D&D classic set up: warrior, mage, rogue, cleric=Assault, Engie, Recon, Support.
