I can understand walls, but windows? Thats kinda strange. It didnt take BC2 to discover window damage.

I have read some reviews that the sp is really short, like 4 to 5 hours short. And I read that the mp is CODish.

I wouldnt worry about the CoDish part. Everything today is CoDish, especially since CoD put just about every FPS feature in their game.

Hmm, that sounds exactly like what ruined FFoW: Bad hit-detection.

No different from BFBC2, though. And I've put up with that for well over 400 hours.

I think it was maybe a lack of players and support of the game. Not sure about the hackers though.

yeah I was also considering it but no demo or beta has me saying no. Since I no longer review games as a job I feel so much more selective on my game purchases since now I must pay for them. Homefront looks neat but IDK.

To those not keeping up to date on well, anything, here is why there is no demo.

Will there be a PC Beta/Demo?
Right now the teams at Kaos Studios & Digital Extremes are working hard on finishing the game at the highest level of quality possible. Of course we’d love to release a public Demo, but this would detract efforts from the main game.

Rest assured, we have conducted a lengthy private Beta on the PC to help us fine tune the game, so any Demo would be for promotional purposes only.
Additionally, the game is fun. SP is actually quite engaging and moves at a decent pace.

MP, ... I can't even play it. I'm apparently one of the rare people that cannot join any server. Correction out of about 30 tries over the past two days, I connected to one server and that was a fluke.

I saw that quote too, and they are completly missing the point

That "Promotional purpose" would be to convince me to buy their game.

I rather they spent time polishing the final game than worrying about some demo.

I would agree if I could return a crappy game. But that is rarely an option on the PC, and even less when you buy your games on Steam.
It is not even possible to resell it, nor can I rent it to try it out.

                              Gamespot gave it a 7.0

                              REVIEW

Lately though I have about given up on Gamespots ability to rate games.

Ow, the biggest french website about video games rated it 11/20 and this website is not a severe one believe me. They said the game have a horrible AI, bad scripts, the game like look CoD bis, they finished the game in 4 hours, etc. Multi is ok, no less no more.
