I liked how the chopper controls would be set up.

      Battle points look ****ing retarded.

"You can buy stuff whenever you want them - tanks, helicopters, ammo upgrades, more RPG's"

So lemme get this straight... If you can buy **** WHENEVER, then a cluster**** of 16v16 infantry can turn into 16v16 tank/heli whoring? Hell no.

If you are looking for infantry only then this is definitely the wrong game.
But I don't think it will be a problem
              A) You will have to earn these Battlepoints first, the chances of everybody being able to buy a tank at the same time is small.
              B) Like in BF, everybody could choose to be a sniper, but only half does

Another way to look at it is that this will eliminate all the internal conflict when people race to get the best vehicles, and the game is almost lost because someone drives the tank over a cliff. This time around it is truely your Tank, and if sombody doesnt like your driving, they can go buy their own.

Honestly, though with BF3 coming out later in the year this game doesnt have a prayer...

Downloading it now. Wish I knew they tossed up the pre-load a few hours ago, could've been playing already.

I got it for $40 on D2D and got a quick pre-load from there. Sadly, the 7.5GB freaking pre-load only installed 5GB at 53%. Steam downloaded the other half and took 45 minutes...

From what I've read while waiting for the download to finish up, retail customers also got half a game. That sucks, as I'm betting a lot of people bought the retail version BECAUSE they have slow internet or a bandwidth cap.

In regards to the destruction in the game, it kinda reminds me of the map Foy in COD1:UO, the church could not be destroyed but the top of the tower could be blown off and the ceiling would get holes in it. That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing but I hope they increase player count to 48 or 64 just to have the option, 32 gets old, people will just play COD... be different!

I am curious too. The lack of a demo makes me suspicious, I remember FFoW.

It's fun. There are a few weird things, like when I shoot someone 7 or 8 times and they don't die, yet I die in what looks like one shot from the same weapon...

Other than the fact that walls and windows are bulletproof and indestructible (BFBC2 has spoiled me so bad), I really like this game.
