People always forget that screen resolution makes a huge difference in game performance... If you're playing on a smaller screen 17 to 19 or 20," you won't need as much power as if you were playing in a 24" monitor. I'm fairly certain that if you aren't playing on a huge monitor a higher end C2D and a good DX10/11 card will do you fine (8800GT and up). Not necessarily highest graphics, but you're not going to be just barely squeaking along either.

Im not upgrading my 6750 dual core for a game that might be a ps3 game.I will wait for the game results first

-Jets. They are back.
-Prone. It is back.
-Maps 3 times the size of BC2...They are here.
-The PC Version of the game is being ported to the console, unlike the vice-virca we all thought. Huzza!
-Information and "other cool stuff" coming this month
-Beta Summer 2011
-Release in November/December 2011.
-PC Version is getting remakes of fan favorites.
-64 Players Max on PC. Unknown for consoles.

Dont worry about the console players, by the time they are half way through their 180 turn we have armed 2 MCOMS plus cut and polished all the armour.

Actually he was totally right, the only thing we don't know about is the fan favorites thing.

I imagine they'll maybe throw in some revamped old maps? Maybe not at release, but later in a map pack.

Who knows though.

If there's jets there's almost guaranteed to be an incarnation of Wake Island in there, whether we like it or not.

I wouldn't mind another Wake... that map was awesome. It also won't be as "spamland" with destruction and such.

Wake and Karkand are ****. Dragon Valley is the best BF2 map.

This is very true and it really helps to have more than 1 card when playing with the higher resolutions.
