Don't be cynical but don't be optimistic about BF3. There might be things that are really gonna suck

A little off topic: Have you guys heard about red orchestra 2? PC exclusive with 64 players along with environment destruction. Will be awesome.

yeah i was on the 24/7 bf2 karkand pwning some USMC earlier. I was doin a lot of BOOGOULA (MEC voice over for nades )

As long as you'r running a Quad core, 64 Bit OS and have a Dx10/Dx11 Card you will be good to go.

As long as you'r running a Quad core, 64 Bit OS and have a Dx10/Dx11 Card you will be good to go.

Same here. Phenom II quad core, 8 GB RAM, Win7 64 bit, and a single GTX285. Newest game I've tried to run is FarCry 2 (came with the card in fact) and I can run all on high with no problem so I'm thinking the worst thing would be having to buy another card for SLI. Gonna hold off on buying anything until I hear whether BF3 is even worth it, though.

Ive currently got a dual core 8400+ with 8gb DDR2 RAM and a 1gb 4870HD card.

Personally i think im going to wait and see what the specs for BF3 are as i can run BC2 on all high and it might not be much different. However if i have to upgrade i will probably go all out and get an i7 core (best commercial core on the market? i have no idea), and either another 4870 to Crossfire or grab myself a 5870.

Either way we shall see

Haha, yea. Except a new car, and a new guitar amp are coming sometime in between, wouldn't be that bad if I wasn't totally broke right now. :P
