New patch out for BC2.

BC2 is patching now via the updater. Also from my understanding they will be sending out BF play 4 free beta keys starting today. Somewhere on the BC2 UK forums a guy from DICE said not everyone will get their beta keys today.

I don't like how it's 2.6GB but supposedly it preps your game for the map updates coming out tomorrow and vietnam...

I feel like the SAW LMG got a bit of a buff. I feel like i dropped enemies fast after the patch and felt way more accurate off the hip.

I read some where that players of high rank in BF Heroes were the first to get keys. Others to follow.

I patched earlier today. The login screen now has a another button on it for BC2-V login.

I had a chance to get a beta key a few days ago but i decided not to get it as I probably won't be playing it much.

Try this:

Add your BFBC2 on Steam (regardless of whether you DLed from Steam or from DVD), and ask Steam to update it.

I hear the maps and Vietnam are included in this new patch. So i guess it's just a matter of a server side update.
