not trying to start a fight but how do you get banned from 5 different games by PB? People who usually get false banned can get it overturned if they are truly innocent. It's really hard to believe that PB has banned you in 5 diffent games for absolutely no reason.

Mate i wish i new, i did try and get them overturned, i tried for about 2 years but each time all i ever got back was the same automated message i got from day one and never heard anything else. I wasnt even given any evidence or details as to why i was banned.

Editing config files so that you can see twice the distance as everyone else or so that all the enemy are running around with their names permanently displayed above their heads is as much hacks as aimbots and transparent walls.

Idiotic comments aside, im pleased that the game is having so many hackers removed but i still stand by the fact that i have been online gaming for over a decade and encountered fewer than 20 hackers in that time yet in BC2 apparently i must attract hackers because i saw about 15 banned just today.

Im not claiming these are false positive and they didnt deserve it but when people start claiming they have been wrongly banned and people still point the hack finger without any evidence its no wonder why some people like myself have a very strong personal dislike for the company.

Its all well and good the company banning hackers, but why dont they actually help themselves and tackle the situation from its source but attempting to take down sites that sell the hacks rather than letting these sites get their money to produce new hacks so PB can go and ban them weeks to months later.

Disregarding you personal experiences, punkbuster is evidence. And every single punk banned has a sob story about false positives or their dog downloading hacks, so I don't see that as an indication of punkbuster being unreliable.

Its all well and good the company banning hackers, but why dont they actually help themselves and tackle the situation from its source but attempting to take down sites that sell the hacks rather than letting these sites get their money to produce new hacks so PB can go and ban them weeks to months later.

Thats a matter for the publisher, not EvenBalance. But you should have been on the net long enough to know that it is next to impossible to get a site closed that is located somewhere in Russia or likewise. And if you should succeed, it will resurface at another ISP moments later.

Sorry Eliminator but you sound to me like you are grasping at straws. Fact is, people who are falsely accused are far fewer than those who are legitamately caught.

Whats the point of going on some crazy crusade to prove that people are falsely accused (rarely, but no one is denying it btw) when the vast majority of people banned are legit hackers? Nothing is 100% in life except death. You can't go ripping on Evenbalance because their system isn't flawless.

To be honest, I think it was foolish of you to decline IndianScouts offer to check out you bans.
If you have had 5 false positives on different games then surely you have a 6th coming. Because either you have something PB doesn't like on you system, or your are the world most unlucky guy. The chances of this happening at random 5 times are minuscule.

Why would i want him to look into a game i no longer play?? Not to mention he pulled some random guy up and then claimed it was me?

I agree that the VAST majority who are accused and caught deserve to be, what im getting at is for the very few who dont deserve it, they need to be more understanding to those who actually claim so instead of everyone just pointing the ban finger and ignoring them.

If they had actually listened to my requests years ago when i was banned from ET:QWs then i wouldnt have a problem, but instead i got **** all back from them and had to buy the game for a second time.

But you have been banned 5 times, right?

To put things into context, I have played over 1500 hours of BF2 (I doubt whether I will get to even 150 hours of BFBC2) and have never received a PB ban even once. I have had all kinds of systems and various programs running to help me with configuring joypads (for flying) etc.

There are a few servers that I have bookmarked that I know are well policed by the admin for hackers and it seems that it is only these servers that I play the game on without being totally bewildered how my gun never shoots right, how my opponents get head shots all the time, or I how I can never have anywhere to hide, not even on HC mode.

In short, whenever I play on anything but a tried and trusted server, the game is a total bloody frustrating headache and I always feel obliged to CTRL-ALT-DEL out the game within 10 minutes. On the Super@InfantryClan servers, which have a live stream to PBbans, there is someone getting banned every 2-3 minutes. The cheating on this game is totally nuts and it is driving 'legit' gamers away from it. My mate for example has stopped playing the PC version and now games on 360 where despite the lower performance and graphical quality, he claims he gets none of the frustration that he gets on the PC version.

Last night I joined a Squad Rush server with a friend. It was the two of us defending against four people from a different clan. They SUCKED. They kept coming at the MCOM the same way every time, and they bunched up so I could shoot through one and hit three of them at once. So I just had to move from where I just killed them and wait for them to go back to the same spot. At 18-2, they screamed I was cheating and said they were going to report me to the clan that runs the server. My friend was eating a sandwich and just tossing health packs whenever they hit me a little. He didn't even kill anyone. When the hackusations started, he almost choked on his turkey.

My overall KDR is only 1.7 for crying out loud. But to those guys I HAD to be cheating, since no one could possibly kill them fairly.

I just quitted a game right now where a guy alone somewhere sniped everyone with the Akaban, you couldn't approach him by any means, he always see you coming no matter what. I quitted when he was at 18/0. And you can't see if the server has PB on or not since a lot of servs desactivate PB due to some problems.

Sometimes when I get raped, it may be down to:

Me being $hit.
My internet connection being $hit.
The server being $hit

However, there are certain servers where I am guaranteed to get a good game. Whenever I go onto PORNOSTARS GERMANY, for example, I get a good game. Now I know for a fact that the admin on this server are very active and do a good job of running the server (as they did/do with theri BF2 server). There are other good servers where I always get a good game i.e. Super@Infantryclan (PB-ban tastic). Is it just coincidence or some kind of placebo effect that I get a good game when I play on a server that I know to be well run, or is it cos all the other not so well run servers are riddled with cheaters?

So whilst maybe not everyone will be cheating, a hell of a lot of people are and there are servers on which they get away with it and servers that they don't.

overlay with the correct Crosshair for all weapons in all firing modes and gamemodes. (far worse the doting your screan)
removal of Camerashake when hit. (aim stays the same allready, only the camera shakes.)
Removal of ambient noise
removal of ambient GFX effects

these are all things easily made by any of the countless cheat and hack sites, some of those dont even require a actualy cheat or hack but are probably accomplished by simply renaming a couple of files.

none of the above thing add anything to the gameplay, they are all there to creat a false illusion of reality, but are actualy annoying. "
