Yup, more risk and take more skill to do it in others BF, and knife duels were funny. On BC2 I almost don't even aim sometimes, just press the button and bam, dogtag, even though the guy were firing on me with a shotgun.
That one of the major things I hate about the knife in BC2. You can be 15 feet from someone, hit them several times with bullets and they are magically able to run and knife you.
i'm still used to MW2's ridiculous knife reach that i keep trying to knife guys from too far and get my face blasted. sigh

Any truth to the rumor that you are invulnerable while the knifing animation runs? Have anybody been shot mid-knife?
I still believe that once that animation is running there is nothing stopping you. If i get jumped i always hit the knife button now so that my enemy wastes his ammo, by the time im done he is stuck reloading and im pumping lead in his face. Such a sad mechanic in this game.
