Good way to rank up is playing on titan mode and when it gets boarded defend your titan with the support kit for example. Other suggestions on how to rank up fast?
run around with medic, and kill everything that get in your sights. with medic you can also heal everyone around you(go people HEAL people around you), and you go get major points.
Errrr... What is, "wrong"? Being that I'm a BF veteran and critic of 7 years? I'd be interested to see how I'm doing it "very wrong".
I gave up playing Gibraltar due to frustration with *spawn* *naded* *spawn* *naded* *spawn* *naded*. I took the advice given and picked up kits and played Titan... Last score, 60. Although I was commander of the winning team. :P
Yeah I agree, but they aren't so bad at all (infact balanced) on larger maps. Gibraltar is best played with 24 players tops.
That's pretty much it, although I'd say up to 32. Camp G is basically one big corridor when you look at it, and it's asking for spam. Anybody who frequents 64 player gib servers (especially inf only where you don't have the luxury of jeeps) is asking for spam-stalemates at least 50% of the time.
Also the nade spam is way worse than my experience of it in BF2 due to the terrible bottlenecks in the map designs. (Gibraltar being shocking for this)
Don't play Camp Gibraltar, especially on 64 player servers; in fact, avoid it entirely.
Port Bavaria and such are the maps you want to play on.
nothing like some belgrade, tunis harbor or shuhia taiba in conquest. Then there is the best in Liberation of Liepsig. Soon to be free and hopefully played alot more often. Altough titan version of bridge at remagen is a close second.
Harder to find the larger vehicle maps in conquest though. You might get one or 2 compared to the 1000 24/7 camp g servers.
I often prefer 48 player servers over 64. Still a large number of players, but a bit more manageable. It's more obvious who is skilled and who isn't.

Liberation of Leipzig is definitely one of my favorite maps. It's developed extremely well and has a niche for all gameplay styles
Balance is great, game runs very smooth. The only negative thing i can think of right now is the one map servers but thats about it...
Edit: Camp G is the map I avoid playing the most. Played it last week cuz it was in the rotation of the only populated server at the hour. I got gold star and 42 nades kills... Iam sure its an excellent map for scrims but on 64/48 man servers, forget get it. Eventually you will get stuck on them bottle neck the map has and this will only get pointless.
