PS: I'm stunned those rockets got through beta, they should have never made it into the game how they are now.
I've never gone to a seedy late night cinema and watched porn, but if I did, I expect I'd feel like I do when I run out of ammo and pick up a kit from the ground with rockets equipped and get a kill that way.
:dead:
I have played BF2 for about 1000 hrs and 2142 for about 1500 hrs. I love both. BF2 though is way unbalanced with the aircraft in the vehicle maps to be pretty much unplayable. 2142 is alot more balanced therefore much more enjoyable to play. I don't have any problem with the rockets as long as you learn how to move from position to position to avoid them.

Just watch it on DVD, do ya? Just kidding! I think I know what you mean. I only ever play "support" anyway. I feel violated when I'm killed by those rockets, but then again, it's all part of the game. Nothing stopping the rest of us from using them (apart from a sense of honour:p).
Sense of honor my hairy behind; they were made to minimize camping, and inside a 20 meter radius they can't be used like a noob tube; past 100 meters is a bet to see if the target doesn't move and past 50 meters you have to lead them a lot on moving targets.
They are easy to use yes, but difficult to master; only unbalanced thing about them is their spammy nature when coupled with a support crate.
They are a zone denial tool, they work that way; what makes them noob friendly is the fact they can be equipped along with the Voss; and you get short range (bullets) and long range (rockets) zone denial.
