I played 1 and it was awesome and the devs said they changed it up so it was not so repetitive. I think 2 is going to be a lot of fun.

And even though more people are dumping the game after last night, I do still plan to get it to try it out and report back.

btw, what's the reason for removal of lean? cuz that was one of the things i appreciated in COD that BF didn't have. why the heck are they removing cool stuff like that for?

All they said was that lean was not balanced for Modern Warfare 2.

I dont know what that means, but its not balanced.

MY GUESS is in CoD4 they had this issue with the hit detection being all screwed by leaning while running or by looking down or something and they couldnt fix it, so they took it out.

Thats just my guess with a weird bug and may be 100% wrong.

Your guess could be possible becuase in Cod1 when i use to play rifles only ppl would like lean and run or walk at the same time and i swore it would screw with the hit dection

The Single Player Campaign and all my friends who play consoles are definitely pushing me to get this game. Thats why I am getting it. Just so I can talk to my friends about it.

see if i had to pay 59, i'd probably not get it, but i'm getting it for 39 and then amazon will give me 20 promo credit which i'll use on BC2, making the game only 19 bucks for me in the end. can this game not even be worth it for 19 bucks?

Just to go off on a tangent, and while I'm pretty sure this is isn't exact the reason behind the decision, but there have been lean glitches in Call of Duty in the past. The infamous VLL (or vertical left lean glitch, which haunted CoD2 players) allows you to lean and see other players when they can't see you. You can still crouch/lean spam a bit in Call of Duty 4, but it's not nearly as bad, and should not justify it being removed from the game, especially when it has such a prominent role in gameplay.
