Very sad to see J-10 noobed down, I guess the ****ty pilots of the world got their wish.

J-10 being a super weapon added an extra layer of fun into the game.

1. Stealing a J-10 that was fun! trying to sneak into an enemy base and steal one and when you did it, you got rewarded. Now there is no point in doing that anymore.

2. Killing a J-10, if you were good, you could do it. It required a completely different flying strategy, and if you were good, you could kill J-10s, there is no need for it anymore.......


Battlefield is awesome because it's easy to get into but very hard to master but if you do master it, it's awesome and very deep. But noobs sure got their wish. DICE should add shooting assist too, to make the game even easier.

It was an extra layer of fun, I'd agree. But that extra layer was only available for 1 or 2 players on a team at any one time. The rest of the team had to deal with all the **** that occurs when the other team has air superiority. Maps like Dalian and Wake were just rape unless US could consistantly down the J-10s

Now the jets have been balanced, the US team can compete without the need for experienced pilots in the 35's.

It was fun only for the skill-less noobs who flew it. Two clicks and you get an easy kill. No need to drop flares or learn how to evade since the F-35's missiles usually danced around it like it had cooties.

You probably only stole them so you go get easy kills. If you want to sneak around the enemy's base then there's always C4ing assets. I'm sure that doesn't quite work for you, though.

Killing them was not impossible, many skilled pilots knew how to do it (with great effort not needed in other planes), but it shouldn't have been as hard as it was. Why should it take 10 missiles (8 misses,2 hits) or more to kill something that itself could kill with only 2 missiles? Why should its missiles be able to shoot through flares, why would it not really have to even deploy flares itself? Is one tank exponentially more invulnerable to damage than another? Same for choppers? No, the J-10 was the most imbalanced piece of equipment in the game and only the biggest of noobs is "sad" now.

And the J-10 can still take out an F-35 easily with two missiles. Any noob can click twice and get a kill.

My thoughts exactly!!!!. Hopefully this will make air whoring and thus, STAT PADDING IN A JET, less popular.

The battle should be won on the ground by the ground forces, not by one or two people in a server racking up their scores.

I have to agree, but with a clarification: the jets clearly aren't the most helpful assets in the quest for victory... but that's not the case for helicopters, who stay a lot closer to the fight and maintain an imposing presence wherever they're needed.

I find the hitboxes are a lot better when standing and crouching, but when prone it still seems a little skewed.

Can't comment about planes 'cos I prefer I/O....

And I'm p***ed off about them adding EU and AF 'cos I was one of the few who paid for them.........

The problem with this is, that when good players were in the J-10, it was awfully unbalanced. Now good players in the J-10 at least have to worry about other jets ala F35B's.

And I'm p***ed off about them adding EU and AF 'cos I was one of the few who paid for them.........

But how often were you able to actually play them, there was barely any servers running EF or AF. Although now everybody is running them which is getting slightly repeatative.

The J-10 was an extreme newb magnet due to its uncanny ability to dodge most missiles and the simplicity of shooting F-35Bs without having to ever worry the missiles might miss.
