Not only that, I think the level of skill is much lower in the US. Dont get me wrong, there are some good players, but the majority of player are complete noobs. A much higher percentage than what you find on Euro servers.

This depends on the server you play on and who the admins are. Some server admins are bent on keeping thier servers "Fun" and thus will ban anyone with skill.

you want to see some hardcore bomb spam watch iconic when they are scrimming. rockets are what come out of thier assault rifles and then they are smart bomb accurate with grenades but then when it comes to actually shooting they kind of fall on thier faces.

at the end of our scrimming i [[kind of]] said 'got dan truckin freetards' after we beat them and then i cracked myself up and they left and stuff.

now tell them the story of when you played us and we used the zog for the first time. Yes you won the first round.... barley.... and someone commented "no wonder they use rockets". Then you didn't win a single round after that. Don't forget to note the fact that the zog came out maybe twice per round on our side. Hell we forgot we even had it equipped.

and then...i dont get it, are you telling me about how you are bad...or are you explaining the fact that you beat us because you used rockets?

ready to accept flaming: But its a tactic, a good one, and it works and gets you kills. why should you be "the cool guy" who only gets (for example) 20 kills in a round, using only the Baur. compared to the "noob" who gets 40 kills using the baur and pk rockets and some other stuff...Who's the noob now...its a game for highest points and best squad leading.

if all that is played is medic and camp g then anyone can get a really high KDR. Does not matter if they use rockets or not.

I still don't understand why people hate on certain weapons. My guess is they hate being killed by it and have to justify it as being nooby in order for their fragile ego to handle being killed by another player.

im sorry but all i see going on here are noobs that are trying to defend themselves

the plain and simple fact is acheiving a set number of kills or kd or winning a match while using rockets you in fact require less skill than if you didnt use rockets. there is no getting around this. rockets are teh biggest nub sauce you can pour onto your game plate. rockets bore-ify the game. assault players use rockets because they dont enjoy using the shotgun, then they dont enjoy using the shotgun because they are bad with it. they are bad with it because they are bad. ladder logic

It's not the point of defending the noobs and you really dont have to go calling me a noob just because i will use a weapon given by EA to my advantage, and the fact that your not smart enough to take advantage of it..thats not my arguement though. It's like being in a war, and your offered a tank compared to a hummer. which would you take, the easier kill and stronger kill...

Sure, you might get pissed because your trotting along having fun with your shotty (which i admit is fun), then you die because someone killed you from a distance. you get pissed, then spam the message's with "Wow...noob" all in the midst of him having a heck of a lot higher score than you...but then again, there are times where you are better, i have seen it. I use teh pk rockets alot, but i also use the herzog alot more lately, because it combines your fav. assualt weapon and the shotty together.

All in all, its simply your loss not to use a weapon that's an easy kill. But if you think your the "cool guy" that way...whatever.

Problem is, all the people who think they're so good (or might actually be very good) and die, will always find someone/something to blame for that death.

Apparently, rockets are nub. whats next, the pilum is so good against tanks? why not just say pilum users are noobs. or say gunship whores are noobs too because gunships are too strong against your measly buggy or something

Just suck it up, you died. get over it. get up and play, go kill that guy who rocketed you. get his tags...its a freakin game, why whine about one weapon.

There is not that much skill using rockets. That is the truth. You dont have to aim precise, you just have to aim in a general direction. While you get up to 4 rockets in one clip which is overkill basically. And you can use them from ridiculous long ranges. While they can reach people behind corners and behind objects.

Whereas if you didn't use rockets, your kills will take more work and you will have to learn to go for headshots when people are hiding; which culminates in actually improving your aim.

EA did put them in the game, so if you want to use them go ahead. But just realise it will always be termed a noob weapon for two reasons.

1. It takes very little skill in using it.
2. It is a spam weapon.

Personally speaking, since I switched to herzog and stopped using rockets my k/d, my aim and SPM has increased dramatically. And also improving the accuracy of my frags.
