Meh Swat banned me for hacking. Apparently "at least in their imagination" there is a hack that lets you glitch the pilum thru vehicle shields. None of them witnessed it, but some one in the server said I shot them thru their shields so I was banned. Think I'll sign up and see what they say :)

That is just a glitch in the shields. There have been many times that I have been shot when my shield was fully charged. I know it shows as fully charged because I would be in TS with the guy that shot me and he would tell me on his screen it looked like my shields were up. I've also been on the other end as the one shooting and seen shields up but still the round hits. Just another glitch that will never be fixed.

Just to throw more evidence out there, it's not only the Pilum that does it. I had shot a Sudnik at a tank and saw his shields pop up a couple seconds before it hit, so I ran off and started to reload when I got the confirmation for the kill. So yeah, it's a shield bug.

And a side note, if you're going solo in a vehicle and you pop shields and switch to another position (leaving the driver position unoccupied), the shields will no longer work, even though they appear to still be active. I've had gunships TV my walker after I pop shields and quickly hop up to the AA position, and I've also had my tank Pilum'd when doing a similar thing against infantry. But since this has nothing to do with the topic at hand...

I noticed the shields not working properly after 1.50. I was playing a lot of highway tampa and noticed a lot of hits while having my shield "On". And i've had to learn the hard way that if you switch seats the shield doesn't work. I've tried putting up my shield and switching to the mortar seat in the APC but i get hit because the shield immediately goes away

Also if your vehicle health is relatively low and ya got hit with Engineer rocket or Gunship when you pop your shields on you are as good as dead...just sayin.

i saw a couple guys today on TBG E^Gaming Ben Affleck and Matt Damon they were the biggest tools. they made the server lag with thier aimbots and whenever they killed me they would t-bag me and talk crap to me. i would just tell them how stupid they were. and then i would kill them sometimes when theyre trying to knife me and dumb crap like that. near the end of the round i kill both of them at the same time with a herzog and they start actually getting angry and beligerant with me saying stuff like "f*** U"

these guys really need to just go away forever. they are so clouded with stupid they dont know real from fake.

lol. I had a crap score because i getting killed by the botter and i chose to sit out the majority of the round and just watch the ridiculous score climb

Yeah I just saw him (zhownage) in a server the other day, he had a name of e^Gaming o_HOTHEAD_0. though i was still able to kill him a number of times. He just sucks in general :laugh:

what i find funny is that zhonage started a thread in the official ea forums. get this, he makes this post about how knife servers should be shut & he's complaining about the CHEATERS. oh, the irony.

Well there is the image of the public enemy and then there's those that want to make those they hate, the "public enemy."

Back in the days, [BM] Blackwater Mercenary [BM]w8liftn was the public enemy number 1 for us gunship pilots for being such as wussy. SAAW him, gets banned, knife him, BAN, shoot him down with gunship, BAN, steal his gunship, BAN. ect...

I see E^ is no where near that. Others just hate HOTHEAD because he is good.
