Brad, so that's why some punks won't die when I'm blowing them away with my tank. Forgot about the flak jacket helping them. I; however, do not seem to play on servers where people use the tanks much.
I hear you Shifty on the taking the time for shooting, I just have to mentally prepare to do that. For all of the years I played MoHAA, MoHSH, and the CoD series, I usually used a rifle/sniper rifle, but recently, I had started using the autos more often. Granted, I used autos in MoHAA, MoHSH, and CoD's also, but using a rifle/sniper makes you play differently, and actually makes you better with autos/semi-autos. When I go too long without using a rifle/sniper, I start to play too much with the mindset of a run-n-gunner instead of the better mentality of a rifler/sniper.
OH, and I should mention, I still move/play almost the same with a rifle/sniper, I'm a very aggressive player. There is just a little more intelligence on my part, and calmness in 1 on 1's when I know I have one shot, then some time since I use bolts, before I can shoot again. So I take careful aim and I stay calm and can literally run circles around some people. For some reason, when you have an auto or semi-auto in your hands, you want to spray more.
I'm going to go home tonight and try the garand again with some extra patience and thought.
Btw, do you use the garand w/o stopping power on Softcore or Hardcore servers? And w/ stopping power? I also play on a server sometimes that uses mods which changes weapon strengths also.
I've started noticing some servers out there (probably run by clans who are tank whores) that have either nerfed the explosives, or raised the health of the tanks...I played an entire round of almost 30 mins on Downfall, and couldn't destroy 1 single tank. 2 ground satchels, plus a direct sticky nade, with Fireworks, and they were still running. :|:

Yeah, someone is playing with tank health. One on the ground and a sticky in the back will take out a healthy tank. Anything more and you are playing on a tainted server. I hate that
As for using stopping power, my kit doesnt have it. I am going to put it on tonight though as I have had a few juggers nearly get away
Okay, so after focusing and trying the garand w/ scope again (juggernaut), I went 13-2 on Cliffside as American. I didn't do as well on the next couple of maps, but I'm also used to playing with an auto, so maybe I'd get adjusted with it. BUT, I must have been on a hardcore server, b/c it was 1 shot 1 kill. Very strong. The other night I believe I was on a modded server and it wasn't as strong. So I see a future with it. I need to try the carbine also as people as have said, but I was almost more interested with the scope aspect. I'll give the carbine its shot also. No pun intended.
I played on a somewhat tactical server tonight which allowed me to focus on the weapons more instead of arty and dogs and 50 other people on the server. SO, the carbine is quite a beast, but the one prob I have with it is that the iron sights are like a fat lady in front of you at the movie theater. You have a little area where you can see, but the rest of your view is blocked. I ended up pwning with the garand/scope/juggernaut. I believe it was a hardcore server though. Still, it was 1-2 shot kills and I'm getting back into my rifle/sniper shape that I haven't been in for quite some time.
I vote garand b/c I like using it as my sniper rifle, but without the scope, I'd say the carbine is probably better. :thumbsup:
They're more powerful and more fun, what's not to love. :nod:

lol Brad is my name, bradino is just a name my friend made. But anyways, people usually forget about flak jacket when they're tankin' and they always say "DREKIN WONT DIE HES HACKING!!" or some other kind of complaining. (Drekin is my screenname just so nobody asks who it is)

Flak Jacket > All
Arty has to land right next to you, tanks are not mosquitos, frag grenades are water balloons.
So I tried some flak jacket stuff and it is alot better than when it first came out. Unless you get hit directly, you can withstand one explosion of anything.
So if you had flak jacket, would you need bomb squad?
Also, trying the garand more and it is really climbing my charts on best semi. If it had almost no recoil like the gewehr, it would probably be my favorite.

Yeah I took an arty hit and a grenade hit like 1 second after and that thing saved me.
