I think the biggest issue is that this game got off to a really really bad start, which in turn means that very few really good players or players from a high competitive background make it into pubs. So when someone of skill and aim graces these pub servers with there presence they are sure to be banned within a few rounds... Some servers take a month or 2 (*cough* [DeV] *cough*) to do it, others with in 15 consecutive kills.

Either way, its par for the course! If/when more competitive servers pop up is when things will get better.

Competitive? I don't think we will see any of that. The dev team dropped the ball on that from day one. At it's present state it could be but I think it is a little too late for that. COD4 will be it untill COD6!!! (just my opinion)

As far as the pub servers...well, one reason I got sick of playing CoD4 is b/c all of the pubs were filled with complete noobs and even if I didn't try I would easily win; along with getting kicked for doing 'too well'. And really, that gets old and is not fun, but I didn't have time to go competitively. I got kicked so many times in CoD4 for 'hacking/cheating' that I got sick of trying to play. Especially the servers full of a certain clan. You own an entire clan in their server, it doesn't take long before you're gone lol. It gets old fast trying to play, but everytime you do too well, you get kicked.

I haven't had that prob in CoD:WW much. I think I've only been kicked a couple of times for doing too well. Hardly at all compared to CoD4. I think CoD4 has so many nubs b/c when any game is that popular, tons of people flock to it and for some, it's their first fps...and it truly shows. @_@ But at least if it is, do not go and whine everytime you're getting pwned by someone who has played many fps games along with every single CoD.

^I got kicked from a WaW server because I jumped round a corner and shot the [CO] or 1-PARA clan and I got kicked without warning for 'bunnyhopping'.

I do have to agree... Everyone is pretty bad in a random CoD4 pub. Although you don't need much time in order to play competitively, a scrim might take a little more than a half hour? I'm not sure of the ruleset in CoD4, its a lot shorter than a CS scrim.
