Banned again for owning admins....[with video]

*sigh*...I think this is server number 17 i've been banned from on cod5 so far :shakehead:. Sometimes it seems like i'm running out of servers to play on as i like to play on free-for-all or TDM servers with stock settings, low ping and populated with 14-32 player slots on which when i refresh the list i'm banned from most. Now and then a new one pops up and i join to give it a try. This time its demonclans.co.uk's {DeMoN}Server (193.47.83.170:28930) and i dont even get a full round on it before this happens....

Now thanks to patch 1.3 which finally adds /record support i can record demos of each game and prove i dont cheat and name and shame all these noob server admins who ban players that kill them or finish with a high score.

So here is a 2 min ish vid of what its like to play on these noob admined servers where i only get a 19 kill streak (of which many DeMoN clan players contributed to heh) and then get banned for it.

Anyone else have this problem of being banned from loads of servers just for playing well? i used to get it quite a bit in BF2 but not as bad as COD5!

I even posted a civil thread on DeMoN's forum to try and sort it out but they just deleted my forum account and thread. :shakehead:

Anyway avoid {DeMoN}server if your an above average skilled player because you can see what they admin like. I'll probably be making more videos the next time this happends on another server too because i'm getting sick of it now and so will help others avoid these bad servers.

Yeah, it happens. Hence some of the fear from that 'e-punk' system. However, that shouldn't be a prob now.

If that is the same demon clan I had encountered in the past, I could see them still being ghey, if that's the same one.

Yep. Playing like that kills a server quick and though you may not use them, looks like macros or something going on.

Easier to kick one person than to have the headache of many.

heh nothing wrong with using all the keys available to me and everyone else. Its not like early BF2 where you could jump and prone in mid air constantly heh.

anyway the reason i was banned was for using cheats :shakehead: ...because if you have a good KDR at the end of a round your obviously a cheater right .

That's how I play in CoD4 and it doesn't take macros to do it. My prone button is C so it's quite easy to spam C and space bar

No, i personally class using macros as a lower form of cheating. If you have to use an external program like autohotkeys or whatever to do key presses for you that you can't do by yourself using skill and speed then its a cheat, just like people who cant aim have to use aimbots to do the aiming for them.

what i meant by using all keys available to me is i use everything like crouch, jump, prone, strafe, sprint etc all at the same time where as it seems most people find it hard to do more than 2 things at once.

Maybe it's just me because I'm sick of these threads from BF2, but get your own server, find a different server, or shut the **** up.

If you dont care then dont click the topic and dont read the thread....thats a simple forum usage tip for you.

You might not like to know which servers are good and which are bad but i sure would do and so would others. Plus if you would have read the thread before responding you would see that "finding a different server" isn't an easy option.

Oh so you speak for the whole of the internets now? My point of saying it was the 17th server was to emphasise how big of a problem it is and that its not just some one off thing that happends rarely.

I don't need help finding servers which have rules and regulations that I agree with and that I am content with from somebody who most likely has different views as me. Not everybody has the same opinion with you as to what makes a good server and what makes a bad server.

Of course i know all servers have different rules, regulation and game types and i find servers that match my prefered gametype and rules. I try my hardest to obey the server rules that i'm on but i still get banned for the secret unwritten rule of "no killing admin too much or you must be a cheater". Do you think that is a fair rule and that good well admined servers would have a secret unwritten rule like that?

I do have my own clan server for cod5 and BF2 which i admin on, unfortunatly only a few of my clan even play cod5 as most play BF2 so getting the server filled up is hard and so thats why i play on other clan servers. Our clan server is admined well so i cant see why others cant do the same and thats what my complaint is about. When something is plainly wrong for you maybe you like to curl up into a little ball and hope it all goes away but i like to at least try and do something about it.

There are quite a few threads on this forum i dont care about but you wont see me posting on them all saying "why should we care blah blah blah, go find another game blah blah"

I never understood people who ***** about camping, diving and hopping, the game allows it, it's not cheating, if you don't use any macros it's a fair game... the objective of the game is to kill enemies after all and unless you are using external tools to help you win, everything goes.

That clan are noobs.
