Amazing game, just wish I could play it without the constant white screen crashes.

Just had an epic battle with the Spanish, they'd collected what was left of their armies in Gibraltar, about 5 - totalled around 3,500 men. Took them on with my seasoned 1,800. Eventually came out on top, with 90% of my linemen out of ammo and having to fight the old fashioned way.

Of course, I click 'End Turn' on a high and I get a white screen CTD. yay.

think a ****load of heavy 1st rates, 1st rates, 2nds and a few 3rds

Yea, I took Portugal as Spain and then whenever I click on it to take it over I get a white screen CTD.

I had that happen to me once and what I did was play a couple turns without messing with the "bad" area then saved the game and restarted. Opened it up and was able to mess with the area.

It never happened again though and may have been a fluke.

The Victory is basically a 1st rate with a slightly different colour, its not even coded properly

for instance usually the ship has a name such as Valiant followed by the class

so Valiant, 1st rate

the Victory in my game is named as Fearless

so its called Fearless, HMS Victory - should be HMS Victory, 1st rate

but meh; Heavy First rates where its at!

Tried it again today but waited a turn after defeating their armies to actually click on the city to take it over, so I actually had to go through another battle but I still won and it didn't crash on me. But Morocco is pissing me off, they've got a small fleet sitting in between the small pass between Spain and Morocco. So it looks like they'll be going down next.

Also, did anyone else notice that the Autoresolve option seems to work alot bettter now? It seems that it wins battles more often and looses less men. I even went into a navy battle where I was outnumbered and outgunned (bar said the odds were against me) and used it and still won.

Im 1765 man!the battle bar is like that and i once went into battle with 300 men vs 1000 lol and we killed 750 and chased them away:yay:..

I got most of america,spain,morroco(i got sick of the boats lol)

My games running slow and ive had 20 + crashes:dead:,i have two massive fleets that i cannot select otherwise it crashes every time,i have to save every turn incase it crashes.I really hope they patch me a fix,anyone else on 64 bit?.

looks like ottos ,and russia,united nations are the mojor playaz next.I just started attacking the friendly side of india.

I have some grenadiers and I took them with me on a siege. I broke through the fort and the enemy general was getting ready to charge, so I set them up and they threw these little balls at the calvary. I thought, "Man, that sucked." Then all the balls exploded a few seconds later like firecrackers wiping out most the calvary unit and killing the general. It was GREAT!

So, does anyone know if you can get allies to attack a province with you? In the older TWs when you attacked a neighboring province with an allie they would usually send you a few token forces. This one doesnt seem to be doing that and wondered if I am doing something wrong.

When Mexico Became its own state i had pueblo nations as a protectorate.
I invaded mexico with a full stack and they sent 2, so i had no chance of losing. im not sure why but when i attacked the region capital and the pueblo nations helps they seemed to take the capital instead of me

Yeh I was attacking the Barbary states as GB and Morrocco sent their armies to help, we annihilated the scumbags

yeh those guys are annoying, basically got a ranged Grenade attack lol
