The .45.

M9 can't deal out enough damage.

M1911 doesn't feel right overall.

Deagle a close second, but I'm not a big fan of the recoil. Love the sound though.

There isn't much recoil, its all in the animation. :P

I think the USP might be a bit less accurate but the difference is close to none when using ironsights, not to mention you don't use the pistols for long range anyway. Most people seem to think the 1911 is better just because it's an unlock.

yeah especially on hardcore servers you can pop someone with the deagle once and kill them from pretty hella far away

How can you say it's not a beautiful weapon?? I think it looks really awesome. USP is ugly. Oh and funny you say this, but the USP and .45 M1911 have the same sound.

Deagle, best weapon for finishing off a tagged person ingame. Just don't bother with iron sights unless they're more than 30 yards away.

Yeah, I found that if you keep your shots steady, the pistols will hit on target still, even though the animation looks like you are about to drop the gun.

Same with the .357 in CoD5.

I think everyone would stilll use it, just time their shots for the animation/actual gun to go back to the ready state. Instead of clickclickclickclick it would be click..click..click..

Might slow down the shooting

I use the Deagle. Having steady aim on it helps a lot.

There's a lot more to cod4 that's unrealistic than just the deagle. :p
