More accurate indeed. Although I'm not sure it's easier to kill with the 2142 rifles - the BF2 ones have a lot higher damage (+ high deviation though), an example is the L85A1 which can kill in one lucky headshot

That is actually not true the Baur does kill with one shot to the head too. I think the difference is 2142 weapons are losing some of their power over distance. For example the base dmg of the Baur is 34 up to 40 meters after that it decreases slowly to its minimum of 22.

COD4 was a great buy one of the best shooters ive ever played TBH. Deadly accurate guns and fairly fast gameplay, without it being arcadey. Only downside is its infantry only, no vehicles or planes.

Valves "The Orange Box" is also a great value, TF2 (multiplayer game) is a blast if you like funny crazy antics. Not a game you can take seriously though. And the rest of the Single Player games are a great value, hours and hours of play there.

I also recommend Crysis if your machine can run it. The multiplayers kinda meh, but the Single player game is awesome i thought. Looking forward to the next sequel!

I gave 2142 a good open minded chance but i didnt like it. I found the weapons too weak and way to inaccurate.

I find that last sentence absolutely absurd. The weapons are pinpoint accurate when you crouch, even standing with the LMGs as they warm up as you stand they become more accurate unlike Bf2 where you have to prone to get ANY kind of accuracy. Bf2 is for mayhem gameplay, 2142 is slightly more deep, emphasis on slightly. The Baur is a coffin nail driver, hands down, the Krylov is also way deadly.
