mods..........download some mods. as SonicPixel mentioned, AIX is nice and you can usually always find a room. POE2 is a masterpiece, id highly recommend it. project reality is going strong with the most players by far but trust me, pick up a mod and you may never play vanilla again.

Yes, i think we are all aware of that.


I have setteled down for a pretty long wait.


One post in the '' where is the patch '' thread, said that 1.5 is our xmas present for next xmas not this one, and am now thinking he could be right.


And am pretty sure we will not see it before this xmas for sure.

mercenaries 2. seriously an awesome freakin game. you like blowing sh!t up? killing chinese/ big oil companies/dirty rebels/americans/pirates? do you like big bombs and awesome graphics with almost 100 different vehicles? mercenaries 2 is the prescription.

Give 2142 a try IMHO it does many things that made me want to cry in BF2 better including

- Randomness in aiming
- Nade spamming
- Prone spamming
- OP Aircraft
- Instant healing / supply of ammo

It is however missing some of the atmosphere BF2 has due to the future setting. Most ppl I know that gave it a chance without a negative mindset from the beginning liked it. It takes some time to get used to it if your comming form BF2 tho.

If only they added another game mode to BF2, it would really give it a boost, but there is no chance of that, considering people have been asking for one since before the game was released!
Hopefully BF3 won't have the same short sightedness.

They did say that they were going to add a new game mode into the patch.

COD4 was a great buy one of the best shooters ive ever played TBH. Deadly accurate guns and fairly fast gameplay, without it being arcadey. Only downside is its infantry only, no vehicles or planes.

Valves "The Orange Box" is also a great value, TF2 (multiplayer game) is a blast if you like funny crazy antics. Not a game you can take seriously though. And the rest of the Single Player games are a great value, hours and hours of play there.

I also recommend Crysis if your machine can run it. The multiplayers kinda meh, but the Single player game is awesome i thought. Looking forward to the next sequel!

I gave 2142 a good open minded chance but i didnt like it. I found the weapons too weak and way to inaccurate.
