I'd say about half of all players in this game are the top rank :shock:

Seeing as career points are so much easier to get, what with badges, howcome ranks are so low?

There is nothing in there that is ambiguous or confusing..

actually it is ambiguous. when you ask why ranks are so low, it can be taken 2 ways. most of us read it as why are players ranks, that you were just speaking of, so low. after having a discussion about it, it seems as though you wonder why the requirements to reach each rank is so low, seeing as how it is pretty easy to rank up w/ all of the awards.

And almost only noobs get it last times, Never see highrankers with it...

maybe he means rhe half of the people are brig gen wich would be possible. i played a round yeserday with my new soldier. i had the highest rank of my team with 1001 points :S.. all the rest had less points than me and had no clue what they needed to do. the enemies got their *** wiped by me and a clanmate who made a brand new soldier. we managed to get a full cap at 150-200 in the first round and all others were won by tickets. does nobody has problems with noob/newb teams vs 9/10 brig gens?

At first I thought he was trying to say this:

"A lot of people on TGN have really high ranks, but ranking up seems to take a long time/is really hard, why are all ya'll so good?"

Then I reread it and went "lolwut" again....

Wow, three people (four including me) had no idea what on earth you were getting on, two people were completely off topic and you say that you weren't confusing? I grammatically broke down your sentence structure and proved it to you, using simple logic your post says that the majority of the people are low ranked. Me neither. I think it's because I said "why are ranks so low?" and I didn't say "why are the thresholds for career-related ranking advancement (in integer career-point values) in Battlefield 2142 of a value that appears to be small in comparison to the ease which which career points are actually harvested?"

But I didn't need to say that, because I'd already contradicted one of the possibilities that the "low rank" could be, leading anyone with any shred of intelligence to conclude that I was talking about ranking up. :thumbsup:
