i would say that the scar is better for people that dont generally get up close..but he krylov feels more useful at range too. its just easier to kill people with, how you'd say..more noobish.

The Scar is still good up close but the Krylov is better due to the faster rate of fire.

It's a pretty easy choice when you look at things logically.

In a game where 2 shots from any available assault rifle at the majority of ranges you will encounter of enemy = a kill... rate of fire and deviation will always be the deciding factor. Krylov has the best compromise of the 2 out of any of the available guns.

Equals krylov win... IF you're good at headshots of course.

The scar has a larger vertical recoil whereas the Krylov opts for a more horizontal recoil.

Recoil can be adjusted for manually with practice, deviation is best countered by burst firing however generally the first 3 shots in a burst fire in a similar direction... and if you're hitting the head then they're dead by this time. So to an experienced user of each weapon who can control the recoil pattern of weapons (which isn't THAT difficult), deviation is generally their primary concern :)

Recoil is very easily countered. I try to never fire more than a few bursts at a time.

No AR kills in two shots, other than head shots, in this game. The Baur takes 4 to kill, every other weapon takes 5, with the Krylov being the fastest to degrade to 6, followed by the SCAR, then Voss, while the Baur keeps a 4 shot kill for a bit then degrades to 5.

The Baur is the most versatile weapon in the game. Assuming full damage and full accuracy (A CQC situation) the Krylov and Voss will put down a guy in heavy armor in 0.3 seconds. It takes the Baur 0.33, while having superior deviation.
