Any way, I didn't see any where within this thread that any one implied this was a sequel to BF2 ??

Did I miss it? Perhaps your thinking this is what the discussion is about, where as it's really nothing more than a bunch of comments relating to the likeness of BF Heroes to other past versions of the BF series.

More beta keys will be going out in the near future. Maybe you two will get lucky :)

And its nice to see you guys having fun in the beta........even if your Battlefield:Heroes kung-fu is not yet strong enough to actually challenge me.

Yay! Good thing i'm not the only one that's not in the beta.

But then again, you have a PS3 and that means access to MGS4 and GTA4 I don't have either of the next-gen consoles

Well due to NDA agreement legal issues etc etc..

I can only say this much..

I too love/loved BF1942 and was great fun playing and later modding into Star Wars based Galactic Conquest mod. First Strike rules for 2142 as well.

But oh that first love.. the physics the planes the tanks, the hanomags and jeeps and ships and boats and of course the adorable kubel kopters.. tsk tsk.

But BFV was sweet nice music but could have been so much more on a newer engine but was ok for what it was.. same with BF2 .. Can we all say lets spam nades in Karkand!?! and BF2 was also the time for me to start noticing a younger gen of players that more or less if they could have it possible to for goe the vehicle side of it.. NOOOOooooooo! thats what makes BF series what it is.. the physics vehicles and infantry play.

Then 2142, looked scary, but ends up being both adictive and fun to play.. scary as in we weren't too sure what to expect it looked nothing like bf2 or the older ones.

Now with BFH.. being a tester and again with the NDA.. I will say this.. if you loved that feeling when first playing bf1942 and still regard it with reverence.. then BFH will be fun for you again as well. It is definately play wise and surprisingly enough graphically better than 1942 in some ways.. good bye to drab over brownish foggy maps in the latest series.. this one is certainly for fun and it just lifts your mood playing it.. and laugh you will.

For those that think skill wont play into it.. well think again as well as great gun fights and fast thinking.. depending on your characters abilities and your cunning tactics.. both squad and or lone wolfing will be enjoyable.

And the vehicles although not entirely realistic.. they are just an added bonus to the battlefield and makes for some unexpected playing on the ground and air.

If you need a few good vibes, I will say that I have never regretted buying a Battlefield game. :)

Only reason I don't regret buying BF2 is because of FH2 and Sandbox. :p
