Wait...so there might be a server coming around that runs all different types (I'm assuming 64 player maps, even if the server is only 48 slots) of maps and is almost always populated and doesn't have a bunch of @$$hat admins or teamstacking clannies running the show?

I don't know if anyone has said it yet, but if not I'd like to be the first to say w00t!

Well, it's cheaper that way and Skaggy said he gets 80-90 pings from the UK. Not too bad. I'll probably get around 20-40 from Indiana.

I just jumped into a MyIS demo server to test the ping.
Got a steady 80-90 throughout, which is fantastic in my opinion! The server was located in New York.

I wanna cast my vote for an Oman 16 player map. That, with 32 players is seriously awesome.

While I agree with Sloi that people should be in someway kicked out of choppers for incompetence, I think that doing so would result in too many problems. Where do you draw the line between competence and incompetence? I like the idea, but I dont see it working out.

And sorry I wont be contributing, but being 16 and living with parents who think I already spend too much time on BF2 is not conducive to me donating, no matter how small the amount.

Are we using a system where by:

- People who contribute 95 cents per month get their own "reserved slot".
- People who contribute a larger amount (> $5 for example) get their say on how the server is run and a chance to be admin.

Or something completely different?

We've got 12 people currently able to contribute, some of which want to only contribute a small bit (for their own slot I presume).

I would say that sounds like a smart idea.

Reserved slots are horrid, it makes it very hard to join the server when it's full (the server browser lists it as not full).

I'd be willing to donate a few ££ depending on how things go.
