goddamn i tried few rounds to get this award and not even close. this is an impossible award to get as i see it. i'd be lucky to get one clear skies pin, but 3? that is crazy...

even walker 2nd seat, it's freakin hard to kill infantry with it. it overheats so quick and kicks up so much damn dirt i can't get many kills. i think i had better tries on titan rounds trying to shoot down aircraft and set off explosives while in AA and also doing the titan gun to AA switch. it's all about getting a good start though, which hasn't happened yet.

Add me and Joe2. Maybe we can all help each other out. I have some awards I need to get too. I need 15 explosive kills a round for the silver explosives badge and meritorious infantry medal, but most servers will kick for rdx whore. I need all those damn beacon spawns too.

But what isn't these days? I see posts all the time (not just on these forums either) where people mention that their chums helped them out getting some kind of award. I'm sure some of the things you did to get every single award were questionable too...

In reality, wouldn't playing to achieve some goal other than winning for you team just to get an award be considered stat-padding? i.e., seat-switching, whoring walker aa, etc. It doesn't help that a lot of the awards encourage stat-padding.

I think that getting awards through teamwork is much more honorable than through long-term whoring, knife/revive/repeat, and other questionable methods.

BTW, not attacking you or trying to say you are stat-padder. Just making a point.

When I have my clan mates help me, we don't do anything "Questionable". For instance, when I wanted my Air Defense Ribbon, I hopped into the F2 Position in the walker and had a clan mate in the F1. He would drive, and leave the easy kills to me until I got my ribbon. For Problem Solver Pins, they guard the consoles as assault and support while the person needing the pin runs in and destroys them... Nothing questionable about that either.

Questionable would be LETTING them kill you in order to get an award.

Oops, that's what I thought he meant at first. =P I didn't really see how someone could help him get the explosives badge... I guess he could have meant that he needed someone to resupply him... Or to have them lure people into his traps... Or something...

But yah, it's totally fine if you mean teaming up to do stuff. Like one person piloting the walker and another person arming the AA. Or playing in a squad and using the squad beacon frequently.
