It's the same as buying it in the store - $50. It should be cheaper since there's no packaging. Plus if you buy it now, you won't be able to play until the 12th.

Well that doesn't make much sense. No price discount AND they're making people wait until the 12th? :|:

I'll stick to getting the actual disc in the store.

That's what they did with ETQW. If you buy it on Steam, it should be cheaper... they bill it as a "preload"...

Actually, buying it on Steam is much cheaper than the price we have to pay at the store here in Australia. We're looking at around $80 minimum, so this is a bargin.

yea im thinking about it i must admit.

Over here in Aus its about $100 so getting it for $50 is a real bargain.

Well there's only one day left as of now, so Steam should probably do it. :)

The reason why Steam doesn't reduce the price is that by providing it as an online download, they are making acquiring game an easy process as you don't need to go out or wait for postage. Thus they can charge the same price, and as you see above, they still get their fare share of customers.

So the mods in this site are completely useless then ?

As if you thought i hadnt done that already.

Ive looked everywhere for a release time and nothing. Its 5pm here now 12th November and still no release? Surely PST is now past midnight?

Why should i know when CoD4 is released in Australia... what's that got to do with me? Steam and IW don't email and phone me direct with all the release dates.
If you couldn't find it, what's the chances of me finding it.....

                              Some people...
