i only ever really play HC now, and its mostly all about stealth.
my major kits for it are

USP silenced

UAV jammer
Dead silence
the silenced G3 is a beast, long range sniping, but silent, the iron sights i find are nice an narrow giving good vision on the target, the things a headshot machine.
though sometimes loud and proud is the order of the day
M60 w/RDS
M1014 w/RDS

the M60 is good at long range for me, though the slow RoF in CQB sometimes catches me out, so the shotty cleans up nicely
