WHAT IN THE F*CK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

The three weapons I've referred to have the same minimum damage potential, with the AK maxing out at 40 in comparison with 30 for the other two rifles. I strongly suggest you take a course in reading comprehension.

About ability, shot placement and other factors - who's talking about that? Why bring skill into equation? If that's so I might as well claim that the Uzi is the greatest gun out there as I can steamroll some noobs with an ACOG on top of it.

Bottom line is that the bugged AK makes all the practical difference in HC there can be. By the time you fire your next shot the enemy might have already killed you.

We brought that into the equation because they're the same if we're referring to damage.

    M4: 20-30
    G36: 20-30
    AK: 20-40

If we compare iron sights and combine that with shot placement and overall gameplay ability, we clearly see how the AK trumps the other two. If you're arguing in favor of ROF, then refer back to what I've already written about shot placement and awareness.
Stop trying to save face and admit you were wrong. The next step will be me linking to the weapon stats: if that doesn't shut you up, I don't know what will.

    Edit:

I'll just link you straight to it because I want to make sure you realize how retarded this argument is.

Damage of 30-40 everywhere except with silencer, which is 20-40

    Damage of 20-30 everywhere

    Damage of 20-30 everywhere

In other words, they're THE F*CKING SAME IN HARDCORE MODE. Leaving aside ROF, iron sights are clearly superior on the AK, which makes it the preferred automatic assault rifle to silence for Hardcore mode.

Are you convinced yet, or will you attempt to move the argument into ROF territory to try and save face when we weren't discussing this?

    Edit2:

Since I know you're bound to bring it up, I made a nice little chart.

    ROF Time

    12.5 2.4
    13.33 2.25
    11.76 2.55

Where "ROF" refers to the number of rounds per second, and "Time" refers to the seconds required to empty one magazine.

As you can see, they're practically the same: you're not going to notice this theoretical difference in action because it ultimately translates to less than four additional bullets in favor of the M4 if compared with an AK. I don't want to diminish you, but if that marginal difference means that much to your overall survivability, I question your worth/skill.

Since we've already established the futility of arguing in favor of ROF and damage, we're left with recoil and iron sights. The real question, then, is "are you willing to sacrifice better iron sights in favor of less recoil"?

    I've made my choice.

        It does.

You don't actually see the crosshair in HC mode, but you still end up with more controlled shots.

Who's trying to save face? You never proved me wrong.. you just argue with yourself about things that I am not even mentioning.

Since you are handing out the reading comprehension advice, I figure it'd be good if you took some of your own advice. Here's a simple paragraph of what I was saying from the start, that you will hopefully be able to process without throwing a tantrum and arguing with yourself:

The different damage values between bugged and non-bugged AK make all the difference in hardcore, because the non bugged takes 1 shot to kill at any range.

... and we were never arguing any of this, because my point was always regarding silenced weapons. Once again, may I suggest a course in reading comprehension?

For Hardcore, I use a silenced G3 or M16, silenced M9, 3x Stun, UAV Jammer and Dead Silence. It is so much fun.

Haha.. oh, you certainly can suggest it, once you pass it yourself, that is

But you are right, we never argued, you just said something, I proved it wrong, then you continued arguing with yourself.

I like being all stealthy, unfortunately it hardly helps at all on most of the servers I play on that have 30-50 players. My UAV jammer and Dead Silence are worthless with the idiots following behind me, shooting in the air like it's New Year's.

Agreed. Stealth also plays little role when pubbing against newbs as they don't look at the map anyway. However when you are playing in a smaller game where the opposition are no newbs, stealth becomes invaluable. I was once actually pubbing in a small server where the entire enemy team had silenced weapons, it was extremely frustrating not knowing where they were shooting from when I would hear suppressed gunfire.

I like my AK-47 (no attachment) with stopping power and deep impact for constant 1 shot kill godliness. Stealth is nice, but in a game where the objective is to shoot the other player with guns...I like to have my gun more powerful then theirs.

It really helps when fighting people with the weaker weapons (most people, ex m4), lets say we both turn a corner at the same time I KNOW that my gun will kill you with the first shot, while your gun will only injure me on the first shot. while you are dead, i need to take some heavy gasps for air, but im still alive, ready to kill again.

adding the nade launcher to the ak in hardcore makes things even more fun. thats still with stopping and deep impact.

heres my rant about stealth. Yeah it works, well. Though it can be countered by other players who are trying to be stealthy, or a player who covers their flank, or teammates that cover their teams flanks, or someone that has killed you several times and knows that you have UAV jammer and dead silence...someone like me that knows your gonna flank because you have a uavj and ds.
So theres a few ways to countering stealth, now how do you counter a more powerful gun?
                            get a bigger one...
lets see whats better then the ak with stopping power and deep impact
                            the g3 with stopping power
                            the m14 with stopping power
                            the mp44 with stopping power
get the trend? stopping power ftw

then it really comes down to who can get the 1st shot off.
and how do you get the 1st shot on someone when they constantly out shoot you? flank and stealth...

I play HC, and my main kit is the Supressed Skorpion with Bandolier, UAV jammer and Steady aim. The badguys can't pick you up when their "precious" UAV is up. It's a great combo. I also find I can point shoot the Skorpion better than the other guns.

I have a red dot sighted M14 with stopping power for long ranged maps, or maps with lower numbers of people.

I ran the ACOG equipped Skorpion for a while, and it was hell fun.

I tend to use certain guns on certain maps more though. Things that are close quaters like Wetwork, Vacant, Overgrown, Block (and some people think that's a sniping map. HA!) I use the Supressed SMG/UAV jammer.

Things like Bog get the ACOG M14 with Stopping Power.

That missile Silo one gets the M14 with the RDS.

You know, try as I might, I just can't perform properly on that stupid silo map. Everywhere else, no problem...
