Well 2142 was the only game i played for about a year, so i kinda got used to all the lagg and bugs. Playing games like cod4 and ut3 really show it up now, and its something we shouldnt have to put up with again

yea i totally agree, i went from BF2 straight to BF2142 so i guess i didnt notice, but going back from CoD4 too BF2142, the lag is ridiculous.

I get almost no lag in both 2142 and CoD4, 1.4 in 2142 fixed it for me.

But the "you have connection problems" screen is 3000 times as annoying in CoD4 than it is in 2142 :p

Not that kind. I use the titan pods, and I tweaked my settings. I have become human missile. Add me on xfire and I can teach you

the lag tends to be less in vehicles for some reason. infantry-wise is probably one of the laggier and poor performance fps games, but when i get inside a vehicle, i tend to get better performance for some reason. my fps jumps up and the game plays much smoother (on my crap PC).

im no hater lol but its just not good, thats the only way to put it imo.

also i prefer to stocks, stock assaults > voss/baur, stock lmgs > ganz,

plus the whole long range argument is void because you get fogged up after a certain range, the ranges you typically use a sniper for in 2142 you can use the stocks for.

only bf2 i would argue that all the unlocks are better then the stocks. i think dice realised they had overpowered them so when it came to 2142 they toned them down too much.

The longest official shot i have made in bf2142 is 317m..

And the "un-official" is 355m, and you could barely see the target...

I like COD4 just as much as BF2/BF2142 they all rock. But BF series don't cut it when it comes to fun. I can't play BF2142/BF2 witghout a friend or it's boring.



One thing I miss so much about BF2142 though is when my whole clan, not just 3 of us, would go on a server and own.


Ahhh, now I just play with 2 other clan m8s and I use my beloved BAUR H-AR+PR Rockets+Defib.

il add you but i dont get that much consecutive play time in, 1h here and there due to studies and me getting bored and throwing the book at my wall and playing lol.

also yeh playing bf games is only fun when your on with a couple of friends, adds much more fun to the game.
