MEC had AK101, PLA had AK47

Had a go at playing a little more with the AK today and I must say that if you practice a little it's a monster. I'm getting a lot of headshots with the recoil too

I usually change weapons regularly, but always come back to the AK47 like an old buddy. It feels trusted, familiar and does the job, always. In fact it´s teh gun I love to use most. I increasingly like the AK74, but find the clip to small.

Yep if you get used to the recoil and burst fire the ak>all

But you need to use it with no attachment as red dot or silencer decreases min damage from 30 to 20. It's a glitch

It also appears to have higher recoil with red dot but can't be sure

Anyway as someone said b4 the iron sights are ace so it's all good

I just used the AK today and I am now using it uver my SMG's... I think it is a good gun for close range maps... I main guns where the M16/P90/RPD now it is M16 and AK for now.. I just cant handle how weak the M4 is... and i have needed a good full auto AR..

I think the M4 is as easy to use as the P90, it doesnt really have much recoil, high ROF and good damage.

That's why I use the Ak47... I don't feel like such a "whore/sprayer" when using it, similar to why I use the mp5 over the P90.

It's interesting that you say this. I feel the same way about the MP5/P90 and it makes me wonder why we feel like this when using a weapon which is a normal part of the game.

It does seem like we've created some kind of unspoken rule regarding it. I'm realizing that I've created a mindset that when I run into a P90 user, I immediately think, "Oh no, another P90 newb"... but if they have an AK47 or a G36C, it's okay for some reason? What?

I honestly don't believe that this is good thinking, but I have to admit that I think that way. Conversely, I'm thinking now that some of my mates feel that way about me when I'm planting Claymores and killing them.

                            Hmmm.

For one, I believe folks should be allowed to play the game the way they want to. Freedom / Independence is pretty high on my priority list. I guess I've got a to work on changing my thinking a little to not be a hypocrit.

Did I just say all that aloud?

Sonic must be good at writing essays. (/side note)

Well, I've been thinking - similar to Sonic - yes, the P90 is a part of the game, same with the M4. And the thing is, they are simply better guns. The P90 has good accuracy, good damage, and good fire rate.

People take advantage of that. But, because people take advantage of guns with better statistics, many deem them as less skilled because they need to use that gun in order to do well.

Meanwhile, the player who uses a gun such as the MP5 or AK47 is perceived as being more skillful, because they need to have better accuracy and control in order to do well.

This may not be the absolute truth, but I think it's the basic logic behind it.
