I've banned people from my clan before :p Normally on accident though...

Yeah, I can beat that I've banned myself from my former clan's server before. I was trying to ban someone who was in a crate so I type "!b leav glitching" and next thing I see is the "BANNING LeavingNormal GLITCHING" message in the server.:p Took me about 5 minutes to unban myself from the 2142cc and then after that my game crashed.:p

ROFL, beat this: I once emptied out a =L13= Server. There were two AFK guys who's clan tag contained ***. So, in order to save time and kick them both at once, I typed out "!k *** IDLE!"... I didn't know that "*"=Wild Card!
After a few seconds everyone in TS started yelling "Hey! I'm not idle!" So, everyone with at least 3 letters in their name/clan tag (everyone) got kicked.

God, I felt soooo stupid for the rest of that day :|:

Nice...love that wild card command when half the team is spawncamping. Maybe they should have an idiot's guid to in-game cc.:)

Glad I'm not the only one to do that. We had our NS server full one time and had this one guy who's name was just ***** that was pod surfing all over the map. I cleaned out the whole server.

Anyway, sorry to take this completely off topic.

Returning back to the topic at hand, there really aren't a lot of active clans still in the game. Many have moved on to other games, but if you look around you'll find some good ones. For the OP, if you are asking because you want to join a clan, I would recommend playing on their different servers and seeing which one you feel you fit in best with. They all have a little different philosophy on things so it is best to shop around. Ask if you can get in their TS/Vent (most won't have a problem with that) and you'll get to know them even better.

The Clan members are a riot, I like the map rotation and they stick to rules that I agree with. Just keep an eye on your Tags, as they tend to be a wee-bit dagger happy.

I myself highly dislike clan servers, public is my way to go, NfB is a decent place for a low pop gib server. but everything else, I use public.

FLOT - Their server runs ALL the BF2142 maps, their members are friendly, there aren't any BS rules about no base camping, no "car bombing", etc and are good players.

That's the only server I play on so I don't know about 4 other servers.

Then again, I am biased..

Ah, I forgot about BFB and FLOT. If I ever want to play Tunis, which is extremely underrated, BFB is the way to go. FLOT is good as well, I just wish their Titans moved, its just a 32 player server.:hmm:

Done exactly the same. I wasn't even meant to kick i was meant to warn, but warn everyone so it stood out and ended up kicking everyone lol.

One of our admins managed to ban himslef. Not saying who though.

Whatever happened to CSA? They were hot to trot. Greener pastures I think. We get a load of clans on Timeless. I must admit k1ll@x do well now they seem to understand our server rules a little better (sneaky lopsided grin). Dont see N3XT or INF UK much these days (upset them lol) but we get a few. BsB Yummeh for example and a few of those. (Yes some of them are admins hehe). ESD are coming to us a alot lately (if the auto admin doesnt kick them for swearing too much ) We stil get BPpac without their glorious leader now! And TAU. We had a tau chappy flying solo in the gunship switching seats and taking out tanks titan guns atec that must take practise. We get a HUGE amount of the (RUS) clan on Gib though lolololol

I use to love the Armory servers but all of a sudden there servers are always empty. Same thing with the Sux2Bu servers.

But currently i am enjoying the nfb servers. Skates runs some good servers.
I also like FCW and the Zombie Squad Titan server.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the latest moongamers changes. The Autoadmin now kicks for excessive team killing. And i even saw players being warned for FRAG SPAMMING. I guess US New Mexico won't be playing there no more

Lol we had our own server anyway so our members stayed on our Camp Gib, as doesn't allow RDX whores, therefore better gaming, same with N3XT they have their own server, so their bound to stick to that, also likes our one had proper rules, which made gameplay more fun.

But overall most people have gone, only 1-4 that ever play from Veritas. ( {INF-UK} ).

So it's basically as stated, when you have a clan server that plays same map your more incline to stick to your own plus with them both being higher skilled clans you get higher skilled players
