i've played against alot of the clan players in the US even a couple 20ID guys so yeah id agree that the best gamers are european, i look up to the euros. RedHammerz is my idol. i think PK rockets are noob. just my 10cents is all.

RedHammerz is a cool guy, enjoy owning with him, or having fun matches against each other, a tricky player

1 trend ive seen with the weapon leaderboards is that the highest ranked baur and voss users are US+Korean+Asian players and then the highest ranked SCAR and Krylov users are European.

I Agree with Field, Europeans are the best players by far. I mean, Americas got some great guys that are really really good. Teams too even. But Europe just has so many more, and most of them don't decide to spam PKs just because its easy and deadly and rely on their shots to do the work. Thats skill.
Plus you guys got RedHammerZ as he also said, whos amazing.

PK Rockets are the most effective weapon in the game when used properly. And this clan mod you speak of is probably a rough draft of the PRO mod that was used in TGL, CAL and TWL. nothing is noob except for AP mines. I say bring it on euros. Any of you EU folks ever use this Pro mod I speak of? And there is much more competition in the Americas for sure. We have many more players to pool from. I think that the lack of international competition should be addressed.

i dont know how it is in europe but most of the time when im playing on most servers i will see plenty of straight up retards. and then the fact that they are gaming on some UberRig with good inernet and all of the tools that they need to pwn really hard but then they still somehow just plain suck at the game, its hard to understand.

The first 4 European countries already outnumber the US. There are 27 members states to the EU. I don't want to count their players, that would be too much. You can just accept that there are way more European players than American.

Redhammerz is pretty insane. The thing that impresses me most is not just his killing prowess, but he's always going for the win and capping the flags too. It's pretty easy to get good scores kill farming, but he does it all.

Field - there's retards here too, but on my clan server at least we attract quite a wealth of talented players and it's usually well fought games. You only tend to get masses of cannon-fodder on the 50+ servers. Some of the smaller infantry only servers around are also full up of the clanmodders too so can get some challenging games in.

To be fair, I reckon the US stand just as much chance as EU in an entirely vanilla game provided servers were split. You can't really dismiss an entire country of players when some are going to put up just as much of a fight, and vice versa for EU - you can't really go by what you haven't seen. This said, put someone from the US into a clanmod situation against EU and EU would suffer more than a few hackusations :P (I can't see the US finding an easy solution to combat the likes of prior esports, prog esports and veritas). I'd still back the EU in non-titan game modes... it's apparent that the US play a lot more titan than we do and unless the EU made some form of mixed team from different clans, it'd be a toughie.

You obviously arent skillful with your rockets. I can pick off the church flag on Verdun from halfway between the main and the ruins. that takes skill and practice. I disagree with your statement. :shakehead:

I think the point is Texas, try playing a game without PK's and see how skilled you really are :P Here's typical clanmod setup for you in a nutshell.

- Tier 1 unlocks only.
- Forced flag by flag capture rules.
- 16 player maps
- usually 5v5
- clans generally agree to no apm's, RDX or EMP

Clanmod also gives you mildly upgraded sprint over tier 1, less stamina lost for a jump, modifies some of the weapon properties and there's a few hit-register differences as well. Basically, you, your gun, your bullets, 2 nades. Strips the game down to the core element of who can aim better, none of this fire and forget malarky. Oh, and there's a nice indication of a headshot kill too. There's a niche of people in the EU that play this almost exclusively, and have done for about a year or so.... US would get slaughtered quite unceremoniously... and probably baseraped.

Have to agree that rockets are easy. I agree entirely that they're the most effective weapon in the game, but that doesn't make them difficult to use.

have you ever even played BF2142 competively? It really comes down to using what is MOST effective in the game better than your opponents. Failure to utilize one of the most powerful weapons is ludicrous.

Relying on pub stats and pub experience is noob. Teamwork is the only thing that wins matches. Rez, rocket, shoot. :nod:

While we are on the subject of competition, has anyone ever played in a match with a clan who has snipers or ganz'ers.....I mean LOL. Nothing more encouraging than to see your competition with anything other than an assault kit. On the flip side, we played a TWL match against a clan ( who will remain nameless) who were so bad that our team used shotgun attachments to get most of the second round kills. :laugh:

i'd just say that throughout my online fps gaming time (11 years now), having been involved with clans from the beginning and at an international level, europeans are the best in the world - particularly the scandanavians, presumably because the lack of light keeps both their eyes sharp and their boredom levels high
