Rob, you may wanna re-read my posting more carefully and be less biased before you reply next time This will save me the time to correct your statements about my posting and save you the time reading my reply.

I'll only address the points that I feel you have misinterpreted, for the rest I'll just accept your opinion.

Nowhere did I say that I get killed / frustrated by it. I just think that it's an annoyance to not be able to move on after you kill someone. It's an unnecessary delay imo.

    If I'm a n00b, fine.
I never said that anyone who uses it is a n00b. I said that anyone who bases their whole gameplay on luck is one. As you pointed out yourself, in competitive games Martyrdom will get you nowhere, because everyone can avoid it.
If you're at a point where you get no benefit out of it and you still insist on using it, then I'll call you n00b.

I may be a n00b today, but I'll kick your @55 on a MP server any day because I play the game to the fullest extent possible and I don't whine because a game doesn't meet my internal rules. I'll P90 you, M203 you, use Martyrdom, Last Stand, the Voss, a J-10 or whatever it takes to win (short of cheating/exploiting).
I doubt that. When it comes to playing lame and doing what it takes to win, I can easily step up As I said, I got no problem with that. I'd have the advantage though, because I won't use Martyrdom :p

If we come to an agreement NOT to do any thing which annoys others, I'm cool with that on a private server.
If we come to an agreement that I can at least state my opinion about things that annoy me without being mislabeled (which you said you don't like) and misinterperted, I'm cool with that too :p

    ...

I'm done arguing the point that the game is fine and does not need a change in features. You guys can keep talking about it and wasting your time if you want, I'm going to do something productive and doesn't make me feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of immature spoiled brats who have to have things their way or not at all. That's how my 5 year old acts...
And I guess insulting someone and avoiding further discussion also fits into that age range. Only that a 5-year-old wouldn't be able to misinterpret postings due to reading inability Apology accepted though... I'm forgiving in most cases :p

In my opinion... martyrdom is a just a cheap way to pick up a kill when you suck... But I never said get rid of it.

My perks are more needed someplace else.

Well continue on gimping yourself. As long as people are using it I'll be happier as it not only hinders their characters but the moment I see a nade drop off a guy I downed I know he's food to me for the entire match, and I don't know why, but I feel oh so warm on the inside

I love martydom. I like to run around solo. I like a silenced Uzi. I can go into a large group of "campers" kill afew before I die. Then blow 1 or 2 up after I am dead. It is all about how you play and who you play.

The perks are set up to mix and match situations. The game is to fast paced to stand around to be blown up. Occasionally it happens, but if you have a issue with this perk you need to start moving and stop crying about it.

I don't have a problem with Martyrdom as it is (beside maybe it not working if you've already thrown your grenade) but I think that - and this is a totally subjective feeling - that the Martyrdom grenades are different than regular frags. It seems to me they have a shorter fuze and wider doom range.

I don't have any problem with the concept of the Martyrdom perk. Its initial intent was "anti-teabag technology" , and also adds the "suicide-bomber" aspect of terrorism.

What other people have mentioned, and I tend to also agree with, is that it could benefit from some tweaks, not limited to, but possibly including:

                a) only dropping the nade if you actually have 1 frag left in your inventory
                b) reducing the blast radius so that it will only affect those very close (ie. trying to teabag), and not have to cause you to run away if you kill someone in CQB.
                c) increasing the fuse time slightly

I used it to attain my challenges, but I prefer perks like Extreme Conditioning, and others, over Martyrdom or Last Stand. People who use it don't bother me, but I do get annoyed when I'm not able to outrun it, or have to give away my position by sprinting away from it, even if I kill someone who's not that close by.

It's not always that simple. You can start running as soon as you hear the clink sound, and not always make it. And as I've written before, I can be holding a position, such as a room in HQ, kill someone at the door from the opposite corner of a decent-sized room, and still die from it. Not everyone is running toward someone they just killed.

Now, we can debate whether that's properly adjusted or not, but that's how it's behaving right now.

I always determine that if i can still see the grenade icon in the screen im going to die, its until the icon disappears that i am fully safe.

Anyone who complains is the real "noob". If you paid attention and threw it or ran away than it wouldn't bother you. I have a feeling people are gonna complain about regenerating health, then no health bar, then ironsights, then more health,...
I only died once from martyrdom because I was flashed and threw the grenade at a wall.

                        Just my opinion.

LEAVE it alone, else it will get nerfed to pieces then another thing will get nerfed and we end up in a situation where weapons heal enemies,

even on shipment your not garanteed a kill every time with it so i dont see the problem, people know not to go near dead bodies and if your one of the idiots that just stands there staring then well you deserve it.
