Having read some of your postings, you always seem to use the word arrogant when you are out of arguments.Sorry, my opinion isnt based on a grief of getting "killed by a lame weapon". Thats your "thang". But you probably just cant accept the simple fact that every time you die to Martydom, is because of your own fault.
Its the pleasure of the arrogant and the ignorant. Have fun.
As I said before, dying to Martyrdom happens rarely and is not what bothers me about it, but keep showing us that you got the reading abilities of a pre-school kid.
Every opinion counts, if you like it or not. How do you make social contacts when you don't allow yourself to have an opinion based on emotion? Don't answer, I already know it.Comment

Im starting to get sick of good threads going tits up from 2 people claiming to be middle aged men starting a war with words over the internet.
Why dont we just send this thread the way of the dodo now
:locked:
Why am i not surprised.Comment

Indeed. Having read some of your posts, you always seem to claw into ones manners, posting off topic one liners, and coincidentally, it happens when youre out of arguments. Pot tries to knock out kettle? Yeah...
Do you want me to list the posts that have the tone of "Martydom being ghe3y", or do we end this at the note of you having absolutely no case against Martydom and instead, go after the poster in person. You can not, ever, argue the fact thatAs I said before, dying to Martyrdom happens rarely and is not what bothers me about it, but keep showing us that you got the reading abilities of a pre-school kid.
A) Martydom is easily avoidable and
B) It exploits the mistakes made by the victim
You want to fix something that doesnt need to be fixed, and since you havent responded to any of my arguments, but instead have gone after my "e-self", youve proven yourself to be what you "see" in me. A preschool kid with no ability to have a proper argument.
An opinion doesnt count if its based on emotion and hot air. If you want it to count as "something", it needs to be backed up.Every opinion counts, if you like it or not. How do you make social contacts when you don't allow yourself to have an opinion based on emotion? Don't answer, I already know it.Comment

I stated clearly (even with bold text) that the main reason I don't like martyrdom is that it hinders the mobility after you kill someone, because you are forced to run out of cover, can't advance etc.
I fail to see how that's not a valid argument / opinion.
Yet you come for the what third time with the killing argument which is only a lame side effect really.
Eliminator, your postings commenting this discussion are at least as off topic as this, if not more.Comment

If you kill the enemy that has breached your cover, and drops a grenade at your legs, a "Hit G to throw the nade" icon will appear, giving you enough time to react and throw the grenade. If you kill an enemy in a tight corridor, and he has dropped a grenade, you can advance at least to 2 sides.
If an enemy breaches your cover, and youve killed him, and he has dropped a grenade, and you are forced to engage another enemy, then the perk has been successfully used. Youre being affected by it in a manner that gives the advantage to the opposition.
What youre trying to do, is to make the perk useless. If you make the perk useless, what incentive do I have to picking "Martydom"?
How about we stop with the nerfing?Comment

It doesn't matter what possibilities I have, it will always feel bad to me when I am forced to do something after I killed someone.
There's nothing you can say to change that, because it's my personal preference that if I kill someone, I don't wanna have to worry about them anymore. It's all about how you like to play.Comment

Okay, we've got your point.Originally posted by m_dIt doesn't matter what possibilities I have, it will always feel bad to me when I am forced to do something after I killed someone.

You keep saying it over-and-over again and then insult our reading comprehension and responses when we disagree with your position.
This has become tiresome and boring.Comment

most opinions are based on emotion and not on fact, especially when it come to something as petty as a perk in a FPS. and if they are based on emotion it dosen't mean that they "don't hold any weight" as you so eloquently put it.Comment

Perks are factual, their characteristics and data is factual. The avoiding of perks, aswell as the use of them is factual. Taking offense and griefing over perks is emotional.Comment

Chris obviously hasn't. Guess I'll see him next time when he tries to convince someone that purple is a better color than red, because it's got a shorter wave lenght.
Must have hurt him when he was a child so he developed a hatred against emotions. I'll no longer pick on him.Comment

I guess you can't respect a forum moderator, either. Do you see that post right above yours?
I see a pattern developing here. :dead:
ON TOPIC
I see that a lot of folks would just like to have the blast radius reduced and the perk be attached to your inventory. Those are both valid solutions, but I still feel that as soon IW starts catering to these requests that problems will arise. I feel that way because I've seen it happen before.
Perhaps IW might be able to make these changes. I still think the perk is good at what it does and moving carefully and smartly will diminish most deaths from a Martyrdom grenade.Comment
