Joystick, worth it?

Its perfectly fine if you use a mouse, I have great respect for those who step further and stick with keyboards. Thats not the point. The point is that people tend to value themselves more when they shoot down a joystick pilot and they put the joystick pilots down if they manage to prevail over them. That is wrong and childlish. And Ive seen it happen many a times, too many to count, as a matter of fact.

The typical line of conversation gones like this-

I shoot a newbie down, he asks me if I use a joystick, I say "yes" and he calls me a "joystick n00b". Or, if someone manages to shoot me down, they ask me what I fly with, I say "stick" and they call me a "n00b" and say that no 1000 dollar stick is going to make me as awesome as they are. (Natually, I kill them, they call me a "joystick n00b" and were back at square one)

i used to have the joystick for the jet. , chaining down choppers, within 1 run. bombing, mediocre. dogfights. goodfor dodging and shaking. bad for fallowing reason( time it takes to go change direction is to long if u have it already cranked completely to the side to start with.


now i use mouse and keyboard. the chain guning got more precise, bombing also, and dogfighting is the contrairy of the joystic. shaking n baking got harder, fallowing got easier. and chainguning the jet got possible lolll. so joystick would be for an medium to good pilot. mouse and keyboard(although takes more work) is for the good to the exellent.

I lol´d at the last part. Take it easy on the kid. Hes not really bastardising English language on purpose. Probably just "newbie" to the net or hell, even English language. You can see by the way he writes, he doesnt use TXT or 1337script and his punctuation is a dead giveaway.
