The 21st Century Warfare (21CW) tournament is back today to talk about the launch of their 6th campaign and invite you all to join in on the action. Here's what they had to say:

They're at it again. Battle lines have been drawn. Declarations of War signed and orders delivered. 21st Century Warfare (21CW), the longest running organized teamplay tournament officially kicked of their sixth successful Battlefield 2 campaign on May 18th.
Since its creation in 2003, 21CW has led the way in providing players who seek more than the average public server experience. And with their newest campaign, things have only gotten better.
Along with the campaign kick-off, the work-a-holic denizens of their admin and mod staffs have updated their wildly popular tournament mod. This BF2 modification is specifically tailored to bring parity to the battlefield so that teamwork, preparation and the players own skills are the deciding factor in the outcome of a battle.
In in addition to the stand-alone mod, the tournament has its own core of dedicated mappers and a map pack of some 40 exclusive maps. Each one is tailored and loaded out to provide as many challenges and toys to the player.
Many of the players that participate in this tournament found their way here due to teamwork aspect that is the basis for the play. Each Friday and Saturday that the tournament is in play, 4 divisions; US, UK, Middle Eastern & Chinese, battle against each for available territory. Tactics are preared on a divisional level and filtered out through each division's individual companies.
If this talk of divisions and companies has you thinking this is like the military - you wouldn't be far off in that assumption. To facilitate the teamwork and to add to the experience of each player - players are assigned ranks and follow an established chain of command.
