I don't think they would use a noobtube. That is for normal army. It basically says: hello look at me, so unless ur already seen because 34 tanks just moved by into Bagdad (for example) or ur with a large group, Elite forces won't like that sort of attention.

Until very recently UK Special Forces were the only British troops to have grenade launchers. They were the envy of the regular infantry!
To be honest they aren't gonna be worrying about the noise because when you get to the stage where you need to use a grenade launcher you are going overt!

Firstly in the intel it says that grenades need to travel a distance before they can explode. Why do they explode 5 metres in front of you??? It also says that if they dont explode they still do damage if it hits. Why is it insta-frag instead of just damage???

They need to increase the distance to atleast 20 metres before they explode, they need to remove the instakill if it hits you any closer.. that also applies to rpgs. They just need to increase the distance before detonation to make it a more tactical weapon rather than a an attachment that provides 2 free kills. That will remove the noobiness imo

I personally hope they don't listen to the whiners and change the nade launcher at all, play on some hardcore servers with friendly fire on. Honestly, you people who whine ruin every game, not the "noob toobers". BF2 got nerfed because everyone complained so EA just patched ever little thing. If you honestly don't like it, play a game with no guns because you're just going to find something else to complain about sooner or later.

THANK YOU!! I can only agree with you. Whiners ruin the game, they make others question the game and it's like a damn plague and then soon every1 will be whining about the same thing. Same happened with Halo 3 just a bunch of whiny little bitches. i don't use the G launcher nor do I constantly die by them. Play smarter, listen for gun sounds, know your surroundings, and you really shouldnt have a problem. SheepDog you blow this out of the water. You make it seem like EVERY ONE uses the G launcher when in actuality it's not as common as you think. You overall flame = fail.

I know exactly what you mean, i dont mind the odd death from those nade launchers, but when you get killed by them over and over again it does get rather tiresome.

Well, i'm at university at the moment so i'm in the Territorial Army (Reserve forces, or whatever you call it in Canada). After uni i (will/hope to) be joining the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment as a regular.

Good luck with your training, i'm sure you'll have a wicked time. Bit random, but my Great Uncle served in the Winnipeg Rifles in WW2, he ended up beheaded by the Japs as a POW in Hong Kong i believe.
