It may be fun to you when the people you are playing against dont have the same advantages as you have, but would you really enjoy it if you were in a server full of hackers?

Its boring, pointless, unfair and sad imho :).

I'm not supporting hacking, but you can't tell someone what they find fun and what they don't.

in my opinion cheating is a major sign of noobiness

cant shoot anyone themselves so have to cheat and lie there way up the ranks

i have never cheated at any game i have played i do not see the point..

People that feel the need to cheat are kind of like those physiologically damaged kids you knew growing that took pleasure in abusing small animals. What most people don’t realize is that the need to cheat comes from a feeling of being inadequate in society or their real life. Either they have no real friends or life outside their fellow hackers so cheating at games give them a feeling of acceptance among their peers aka fellow hackers they cannot get in real life.

Most of the players that hack are also the same type people you would not want working for you, around your home or children because what many of you may not realize is that this type of behavior is an indicator of more serious underling physiological problems that could lead to social unacceptable or criminal behavior outside their little gaming world.

Now I am sure that some of you will disagree with my opinion on this subject but if you do I would suspect that either you are doing this now or you have done it in the past and your fooling yourself into thinking it’s not that serious and that players only do it for fun. To that I say stop kidding yourself, just do us all a favor and eat a bullet now before you go out in to the real word and do some serious irreversible damage.

Totally disagree about people not being gifted.

I myself have cheated in the past. While it was very brief I am not ashamed to admit it. I have never "downloaded" a cheat in my life. It was early in my FPS experience when I first learned that by entering certain commands in the console I was able to accomplish certain things. Such as the ability to turn my guy invisible, warp myself to normally unreachable places on the map.

At first when I did this I honestly did not see it as cheating. While I knew it gave me an advantage over others, not until later did I realize that i was no better than any cheaters out there. While my "cheating" was extremely brief it did make me understand why some people do it. Plain and simple......it was FUN!!! Running around invisible on a server is the funniest thing ever. Mind you I was pretty good at the game and had no other reason to do so other than to experiment.

I also was on the receiving end of things. In fact it wasnt until the cheats were used on me that i even became interested on how it was accomplished. Someone else commented that it also involves a persons character. I agree with this 100%. It was in my character to decide (although it was fun as hell) not to continue cheating. I suspect that most people in some point of their gaming time have cheated. Especially if you were gaming for as long as I have been. Games werent developed in the past with anti-cheat programs built in. Its left up to the individual to decide if their enjoyment of cheating surpasses the pure experience of the game.

Actually, wrong. My friend is very popular amongst people and is a very high achiever. He hacks because he enjoys the game more. I have to say, running about invisible would be a laugh, although it would wear off.

but i mean yes ok people find winning fun and not losing any good but its a empty feeling really..

and the people that are actually good do not get the points so un-fair and pathetic people who put all the tiem and effort in to it should be rewardeed and arent cuse people cheat!

I played when BF2 when it first came out. After a bit of grind I subscribed to a hack site. It gave me a advantage over everyone else, yet my character was wiped clean by PB.

I stayed away from the game for a year plus. Now playing clean it is much more fun than when I used SI. The advantage I feel I have now is I can tell when someone is hacking. I am not proud of myself for cheating, I definitely got what I deserved, and I apologize to the community.

Yet I have learned from my mistake. Those who do cheat may or may not get caught. The one thing they will never get is the satisfaction of knowing they played the game the right way. Which is what I have now. Whether it is fun to cheat, or you advance faster does not matter. Cheating is wrong.
