I might quit if I get an Xbox 360 and Halo 3.

my son has a xbox 360 live, he likes it alot, i look at it & i mean the graphics are very nice, but i havent seen a game come close to bf2, i mean even the bf2 game ...uhh whats it called ... anyway they made it for 360 live, i think it wasnt near the game as the pc version. but each his own. at the least the 360 be nice to have.
btw, if you run DSL & plan to split the band with pc & 360 i tell ya what my experience is , our 360 is a band hog, i had to get a loop line especially for the 360 cause my pc kept booting his games when mine would stream it took too much band and MUI from the 360.

gears of war is awsomeon there though.

Soon bots will be more fun to play with than real players. Their AI will be so complex, it'll be able to mimic the random nature of the human mind.

Yea but you'll still know they are bots and when you own them they don't get pissed.

i think thats main reaon i love this game & other online games, because your competing against other peep, ya takes skill to kill bots i know, but something gradifying about outkilling (i hate to say owning) another person.

we just set up a 64 man server again, so i doubt we're going anywhere for a while.... 2142 certainly didnt do it for us, though we are giving etqw and cod4 serious looks, one of them may draw some guys, myself included, away from bf2..

Well, instead of playing the sh*t fest that is karkand IO, maybe you could try other maps or expansions. If you like IO, warlord is probably the best map to play it on.

True, I've been playing a lot on the min gulf with no vehicles, it's awesome!

One of the main attractions of an online game is that your proving that you are better than someone else. Sure, even if bots did exactly the same thing as a human player, you still wouldn't get the same feeling as your not really beating anyone.

I beg to differ, i went in two oman servers and got banned for jihad jeeping in the main WTF are there any servers at all that you can play the game properly in now!?

allmost all servers have diff rules, ya just gotta read & make sure before those controversial things like that, uncap attacks , etc.

krap i got kicked one time for defending myself in a uncap, it was "only spec opsiin uncap, blow toys & get out" kinda server & i respected that, but soon found out your not suppost to point weapon & sure god not suppost to fire if your the ops in there & you come under fire. i guess run away is acceptable.
now that is something to complain about, LOL but it was there server so i left.

Try the mods! Something for everyone there, especially when there are new ones comming out that aren´t out yet!:)

yeah i go through a period that im tired of bf2. one time i was tired then i played karky IO and :gasp: it got me interested again

Granted, this is a beta, but how the hell does one game (in fact, it's only one part of the game) contain so many bugs? I shall list them.

I'm sorry you had a rough time, a lot of people are playing beta and enjoying it... and we are getting lots of good feedback.

Many of the bugs you listed are exactly why we are running this beta. It is not just for marketing but truly for testing and feedback. We didn't have any of these problems during internal testing but of course when thousands of people, each with a different system spec, start playing your game and hitting the servers, then the real bugs start showing up.

We've solved most of the account and server problems and will be releasing a patch shortly to take care of most of the others you mentioned.

Hope you give the game another chance!
