CS is my fave FPS...

but i cant go back to it atm...i love BF2 too much - arghhh i dont understand why it is such a good game??....

BF2 is an arcade game, and arcade games lure you in with:

A. Their easy gameplay.

B. The difficulty of mastering the timing with certain button combonations.

C. High Scores.

I've been playing the whole Battlefield series since 1942.
And every new release of the series got my full attention adn devotion except for 2142 which I don't like because of the futuristic crap that avoids any relation to reality. Year 2142 and still bolt action sniper rifles, come on!
Anyway, specially BF2 is a great game, arcade style or not, it's the athmosphere.
I'm still amazed (after 500 hours playing) by the maps, alltough I play Karkand mainly (no need to flame-I know what will come ;-) )
I don't even look out for other games anymore. I will have a look at crysis though as it seems promising.
BF2 has everything I was searching for, vehicles if I like and no vehicles for my main pleasure. There are jets and boats etc. Everything is great.
Sure there are bug/glitches/nadespammers/claywhores/hackers/glitchers/whiners, but I try not to bother. Not easy btw.

I still believe this is the best FPS game on the market and I will keep playing it for a long time. Once vanilla gets boring I will focus on SF, EF and AF and then caome the mods.
I played just a bit of PR and it is great with great maps, teamplay and features.

BF2 is more than Karkand IO, and allthough I play a lot of karand IO, I know I will move on to other territoties one day and still be enjoying BF2.

Irony = a technique of indicating, as through character or plot development, an intention or attitude opposite to that which is actually or ostensibly stated.


i cant be bothered spelling or using any grammer, that is why my posts seem "broken/incorrect" but if you are genuinely having trouble. Im sorry, my best suggestion would be to invest in a dictionary. Failing that i hear tutors are also helpful in situations like these.

im glad you didnt have to hunt that far mate :) but as for what i said up there...no one forced you to dance anywhere, i put in my post it was a rhetorical question and that i dont want an answer..its not my fault if you cant follow instructions...

secondly that "copy and paste" was for you (hence why i said happy hunting) - im actually surprised, i didnt think youd be that quick in finding it, never mind noticing the hint, but u were quite quick which is a yay-factor

i think the game has actually come far if you count the first one, my favourite was always vietnam, but BF2 has really done well in my opinion
